Welcome to Keystone Cycles & Service, a well-regarded local establishment located at 416 Rte 6 And 209 Suite 4, Milford, PA 18337, USA. While their name includes "Cycles," indicating a specialization in motorcycle repair and service, Keystone Cycles & Service operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, suggesting a broader capability in addressing various automotive needs. You can reach them directly at (845) 649-0281 or via their mobile number at +1 845-649-0281 to discuss your repair requirements or schedule an appointment. Based on overwhelmingly positive customer reviews, Keystone Cycles & Service, under the ownership of John, has cultivated a strong reputation for expertise, fair pricing, and exceptional customer care, making it a noteworthy option for local users seeking reliable auto repair services, particularly for motorcycles.
As a member of the Auto Repair Stations category, Keystone Cycles & Service caters to the repair and maintenance needs of vehicles in the Milford, PA area. The strong emphasis on motorcycle repair is evident in their name and the detailed positive feedback from motorcycle owners. This specialization can be a significant advantage for local motorcycle enthusiasts who seek a knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanic familiar with the intricacies of two-wheeled vehicles. However, the designation within the broader "Auto Repair Stations" category suggests that their capabilities might extend beyond just motorcycles to include other types of vehicles or at least a foundational understanding of general mechanics that could be beneficial for a wider range of repair needs.
Based on customer descriptions, Keystone Cycles & Service appears to be a smaller, privately owned business. One reviewer mentioned that it was "not what I was used to," implying a more personal and perhaps less corporate environment compared to larger chain repair shops. This small business setting often translates to a more direct relationship with the owner and mechanic, potentially leading to more personalized service and attention to detail. The positive vibes reported by a new customer upon meeting John, the owner, suggest a welcoming and trustworthy atmosphere. While specific details about the shop's physical environment (size, amenities, etc.) are not provided, the focus on quality service and customer interaction seems to be a defining characteristic.
The services offered at Keystone Cycles & Service are clearly centered around motorcycle repair and maintenance. This includes getting bikes "back on the road for the season," suggesting services like tune-ups, oil changes, tire replacements, and general maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The successful repair of a vintage two-stroke Yamaha road bike highlights John's versatility and expertise in handling less common and older models, indicating a deep understanding of motorcycle mechanics beyond contemporary machines. This ability to work on specialized vehicles can be a significant draw for owners of classic or unique motorcycles in the region. Furthermore, the willingness to "go thru every aspect of the bike" and provide thorough service for a fair price indicates a comprehensive approach to motorcycle maintenance and repair.
Beyond the technical expertise, a standout feature of Keystone Cycles & Service is the exceptional character and customer service demonstrated by John, the owner. The remarkable incident where John personally found a dropped PUC (likely a license or identification card) and delivered it to the customer's home speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment to his customers' well-being, even outside of direct repair work. This level of personal care and responsibility is a significant differentiator and fosters strong customer loyalty. The positive communication, fair pricing, and timely completion of work, even as a small shop, further underscore the excellent service provided.
The fact that multiple reviewers highly recommend Keystone Cycles & Service and John indicates a consistent pattern of positive experiences. The praise for his knowledge ("knows his stuff"), fair prices ("prices were fair," "fair price"), thoroughness ("went thru every aspect of the bike"), and personal character ("real nice guy to boot") paints a picture of a reliable and trustworthy auto repair station, particularly for motorcycle owners. The willingness to listen to recommendations and the resulting satisfaction ("could not be happier") also highlight a collaborative approach to service, where the mechanic works with the customer to achieve the best outcome.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Keystone Cycles & Service in the provided data. Small, privately owned businesses often rely more on word-of-mouth and their reputation within the community rather than large-scale promotions. The overwhelmingly positive testimonials themselves act as a powerful form of promotion, attracting new customers based on the positive experiences of others. Local users looking for motorcycle repair or potentially other auto repair services in the Milford, PA area are encouraged to consider the strong recommendations and the demonstrated commitment to customer care at Keystone Cycles & Service.
To learn more about the full range of services offered by Keystone Cycles & Service, including whether they handle general auto repairs in addition to motorcycles, local users should contact them directly at the provided phone number. Inquiring about their specific expertise, the types of vehicles they service, their hours of operation, and appointment procedures can help potential customers determine if they meet their specific needs. The positive interactions reported with John suggest that inquiries will be met with helpful and friendly service.
In conclusion, Keystone Cycles & Service in Milford, PA, stands out as a highly recommended Auto Repair Station, particularly for motorcycle owners. The positive customer reviews consistently praise the owner, John, for his mechanical expertise, fair pricing, excellent communication, and exceptional personal character. While their name emphasizes motorcycle service, their inclusion in the Auto Repair Stations category suggests a broader capability. For local users seeking a trustworthy and skilled mechanic who goes above and beyond for their customers, Keystone Cycles & Service is a compelling option, where personal service and a commitment to quality appear to be paramount.

Keystone Cycles & Service Customer Reviews
I'm new to the area and I was looking for a new motorcycle shop to get my bike back on the road for the season. Keystone was right down the road from me so I decided to check it out for myself after reading a few reviews. It is a small private business and not what I was used to but I talked with John the owner of the shop and got good vibes. I decided to give him a shot. The prices were fair and the time line was reasonable. He does a good job communicating for being a small shop and my bike was ready as promised. I had a mishap leaving the shop and I dropped my PUC when I rode away. I didn't realize it until I put gas in my bike and my security system would not allow my bike to start. I had my spare key brought to me but the battery was dead in it. I jumped in my daughter's car to see if I could find my key along the route I took. Next thing I know my other other kid was calling me, John found my key and delivered it to my house for me. That spoke volumes to me about his character. I now have a bike that is riding great, two working keys, and a new bike mechanic. If you are looking for someone to work on your bike and Keystone Cycles shows up as an option for you I recommend you give John and Keystone Cycles & Service a try.

I own a vintage two stroke Yamaha road bike. Not many mechanics are familiar with a bike like this. I got lucky by meeting up with John at Keystone. I have not owned the bike that long—it’s fully original and low mileage—and John got my bike running like I never believed possible. I took every one of his recommendations and could not be happier—especially when I got the bill. He did so much for such a fair price. He went thru every aspect of the bike. He takes pride in what he does—and it shows! He’s a real nice guy to boot—can’t beat that winning combination! Highly, highly recommended!

Keystone Cycles in Milford, PA is the best privateer motorcycle shop in NJ / PA area that I have been to. John Gulla (shoutout to his protege' Sean) is great mechanic and works on all kinds of motorcycles. He has worked on my Kawi Z900RS, Honda 1979 CB750K 10th Ann. Limited Edition, and my 2018 Softail Deluxe. It has been a pleasure to work with John. He is very knowledgeable about all kinds of motorcycles, especially about vintage and classic machines like one of mine. His work is very good, fairly priced, and his suggestions are top notch. He has a wealth of information about iconic vintage machines and loves working on them, not as a hot-rodder would, but as someone who understands that these machines should be preserved as close to original as possible. I am quite pleased with how my 1979 CB750K project turned out after accepting most of his recommendations. If you are anywhere in the NJ/PA area, Keystone Cycles is your go to place, without doubt. You won't find a better shop this side of the Delaware. Great customer service and easy folks to communicate with. Thanks, John / Sean.
