Keith's Service Center Introduce
As an "Auto Repair Station" platform category, Keith's Service Center aims to provide various automotive services and goods for sale to local users in Cranberry Twp, PA. Located at 9504 Goehring Rd, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066, USA, Keith's Service Center can be reached by phone at (724) 201-4041 or via mobile at +1 724-201-4041. For residents in the Cranberry Township area and surrounding communities, this service center presents itself as an option for addressing vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
Situated on Goehring Road, Keith's Service Center offers a physical location for customers to bring their vehicles. The address suggests a setting that is likely accessible by car, typical for an auto repair facility. The presence of a physical shop means customers can drop off their vehicles for service, discuss issues directly with staff, and pick up their cars upon completion of work. The facility's operational hours, while not explicitly stated in the provided information, would generally align with standard business hours for auto service centers, providing opportunities for appointments and walk-ins.
As an "Auto Repair Station," Keith's Service Center is expected to offer a comprehensive range of services typical of a full-service mechanic shop. These commonly include, but are not limited to, general vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake system services, steering and suspension work, electrical system troubleshooting, exhaust system repairs, and routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. While the provided customer reviews specifically mention alternator replacement, steering column welding, and brake line/system work, these are indicative of the types of mechanical repairs the center undertakes. The capacity to handle complex issues like those described suggests a team with some level of technical skill and access to necessary tools and equipment for various automotive tasks.
The core feature of Keith's Service Center, like any auto repair facility, is its ability to diagnose and rectify issues with vehicles. Their service model appears to involve direct interaction with customers regarding repairs, pricing, and timelines. The facility seemingly operates on a per-hour labor rate, as indicated by a customer's mention of "$170 an hour," which is a significant factor for potential customers to consider when evaluating repair costs. The center's readiness to accept parts provided by the customer, as one review suggests, could be seen as a feature, although the impact on overall cost and liability may vary. The center's operations involve assessing vehicle problems, performing the necessary mechanical work, and returning the vehicle to the customer.
While no explicit promotional offers or marketing slogans were provided in the initial information, the overall customer experience at any service center serves as its primary form of promotion, whether positive or negative. For Keith's Service Center, an objective review of customer feedback reveals some critical perspectives that potential customers should consider. The reviews highlight concerns regarding pricing, perceived justification of charges, and the quality and thoroughness of work. Specifically, one customer reported being charged a significant amount for an alternator replacement and steering column welding, along with claims of additional, unauthorized work being performed. The same customer also expressed dissatisfaction with communication and professionalism, particularly regarding explanations of work and pricing. Another review detailed issues with brake work that allegedly left the reservoir dry months later and described an unpleasant interaction with an employee concerning professionalism and communication. These accounts suggest areas where the customer experience may not consistently meet expectations, particularly regarding transparency, quality control, and interpersonal interactions. Prospective customers are encouraged to factor these experiences into their decision-making process when considering Keith's Service Center for their automotive needs. It is always advisable for customers to seek detailed quotes, understand the scope of work, and communicate openly with any service provider to ensure clarity and satisfaction.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. First off. At 170 an hour is a bit ridiculous. Especially when you bring them the parts they needed. Cost me a thousand bucks to get an alternator out in. And a steering column welded. Something that should only take a couple days max. I know because I built the car they worked on. Motor and all. They tried justifying the price because they said my car was "rigged" until I told him I was the owner and told him I built the car. Then his whole demeanor changed. Didn't have much left to say. And then proceeded to tell me he can charge whatever he wants if I don't like it then too bad. And to this day I'm still finding things they did that they weren't paid to do in order to charge me more. Told me my brake light didn't work. Meanwhile they broke the switch under the dash pulling the column. Instead of telling my my headlight wasn't working when I picked it up. He told me to clean my headlight housings so I can see better cause it was getting dark. Overall a shotty half ass mechanic that doesn't take pride in his work clearly. He's just doing the bare minimum and charging you professional prices. This guy is far from a professional. Also I asked if he can work with me on the price cause it was again. Outrageous. And his line was in saving you money by being a conservative. Whatever that means. So again do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Edited the initial review I had after my wife spent $3k here for work that supposedly included fixing the brake lines and system. The reservoir is bone dry a few months later and she’s lucky her brakes didn’t fail getting home. If it was just shoddy work, I’d have just deleted my review (put 5 stars at the request of my wife because they were being hammered by bad reviews). But the last straw was having an employee walk off mid sentence. I didn’t ask him for anything. I didn’t raise my voice. He knew the car I was referring to but didn’t work on it. But all I said was that I saw a tow truck there and as a minimum, I’d expect my wife’s SUV to be towed to the mechanic of her choice. Did not blame this guy personally but as soon as I got technical (no visible leaks so was the cylinder inspected, etc), he rudely just walked off in a combination of misogyny and disrespect. I’ve worked on bigger motors and pumps than cars for 15 years. To be treated like a woman that knows nothing is insulting enough, but being walked away from mid sentence is somehow more insulting. This conversation didn’t even need to happen, I opened a door before I read they were closed until Monday because it was unlocked and their roller doors were open. I was walking back to my car before this guy came out to talk (down) to me. As I said to him, “Did I ask you to do anything?” I was fine with having this conversation directly with Keith in person on Monday.

Hi. My regular mechanic tore his shoulder up. This place is right up the street. Took my old truck there to get the starter replaced. Turns out they do bodywork there also. Had my rusty front bumper changed. Provided every nut, bolt, impact strip etc. needed for the job. Either they didn't know the grill had to be removed or didn't care. The 4 connection points at the top are all broken. Get the bill and find a $150 charge for fuel filter replacement. Question this and quickly removed. Keith offers to follow me home, saving me from needing to get re-dropped off. Notice 1 headlight filled with water because he turned the headlights on. Never had water there before. This was 11.30am on a sunny day. Why did he put my lights on, and no it was not the running lights. I'm a 63 year old car guy. If they tried to get over on me God help those not as experienced as me. Avoid!!

I had a previously positive experience with Keith's as they helped me verify some information for a vehicle registration but man was this like night and day. I called in to try and schedule an inspection. The first time I called in I greeted the person at the phone and they instantly hung up. Okay, maybe I should skip the small talk and not ask them how they are doing, that's on me. Thinking it might have been a fluke or my mistake I called back to try and schedule, but this time I was yelled at, now I'm thinking, "man I better get this out quick to avoid getting hung up on" When I asked what the earliest and most convenient time for them to get do an inspection would be I was yelled at "can you leave it with me because then I'll get around to it." Pretty unfortunate, maybe they were just having a bad day but with that being my experience, I can only leave a one star review.
