Worst service experience of any dealership I have had. I made an appointment a week and a half in advance for 10:30AM. I was only getting two recalls done. Service employee told me it should be done quickly. 5 hours later after dropping my car off, I get a call saying my car hadn’t been started and would not be finished that day. Total waste of my time. What is the point of making an appointment if the dealership is going to not work on your car at all. One hour round trip to drop the car off. One hour round trip to get the car back home. No car all day. All for nothing. Absolutely stay away from this place.

I have been getting calls from Hyundai for recall. The EV charging software needs to be updated. When I showed up for th3 appointment I was told the o lone scheduling system isn't working. I booked a new appointment which was 1,5 month out and asked for a loner car as I have no other way to get to work. I was told ita first come first serve and if you are early you should get it. I asked how long will it take and I was told by the end of the day. Today I was at my appointment at 8 am. The service representative tells me it; - we have low staff sp it will take two days - we don't have any loner car because the one they have are reserved. I feel that they put some customers first and other are not important. New appointments are 3 months out now. I was told call other hyundai dealers. They might have appointments available. I had taken the day off for this. Now I lose income and unable to they the recall update and no service. If I do have any car issues due to the fact the Hyundai Kearny Mesa refused to fix my car, I will hold you responsible! Bad service, bad customer experience.

Who ever heard of a dealership saying you have to make separate appointments for each repair? Then on top of that, they tell you that they cannot even diagnose your car for several days but you MUST leave your car there in order to be inline. I’m so angry right now and about $400 deep in a car rental with no update calls yet since dropping car off Friday. Oh and they don’t do loaner cars. Update- we called yesterday and after having my car for 6 days, no technician has even been assigned to my car yet! in 2019, we had excellent service here. What happened to this location since then?

Had a 3rd oil service today for a Santa fe we bought there. Nick helped us check and ensure the service. I've had mixed feelings about this place after 1st visit, but the next 2 times have been an under promise/over deliver scenario. I did see my dash stating I still need to service my vehicle after leaving, so I'm slightly apprehensive as they spaced reseting it ( which opens the speculation of spacing other things). So I'll have to figure that out. Otherwise, the check-in and out was pleasant and quick. This will be an ever evolving report, I'm sure, as our relationship is just starting. Overall, it does seem in a slightly better state there than the first service I drove in for.

3 rd time getting my car serviced here every time. Without fail I get the worst service to the point that I would never get another Hyundai because of their service team. 1st time I went there I had to wait 1 hour and 15 min to be able to leave my car, dropoff line was over 15 cars long. Second time came in for a windshield recall, once I got home and turned on my wiper they had left the wiper almost dangling off and scratched my glass and side of car, had to come in and get it fixed. Yesterday I left my car for 4 hours. Tried to get in contact with my adviser to see when my car should be done for over 2 hours. Called service department 15 times, called Eli 8 times and left voice messages, called scheduling department and they said they would reach out. Came in to find out my car has been ready for over 2 hours. Eli seemed clueless and didn’t care that he never called me or got back to me. Being busy is not an excuse for always having bad service. Oh yea and all the additional services they always want to add on. Love my Hyundai but would never get another one due their service department.
