Jones Auto of Sylva

I can't say enough good things about Jone's Automotive in Sylva! Our son's truck had a brake fluid issue, and they had it fixed in no time. The truck is driving great now, and we couldn't be happier. The owner was incredibly kind and really took the time to explain everything to us. It's refreshing to find someone so honest and informative—he did not take advantage of us at all and gave us his genuine opinion on what needed to be done. We truly appreciated his hard work, integrity, and excellent service. We'll definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much, Jone's Automotive, for taking such good care of us! Highly recommend!

I needed to find an honest mechanic via Google because I'm out of town and needed help. I'm so glad I found Andy's shop. He was able to take care of my car quickly and as a single woman who doesn't know much about cars, having his professional expertise and time he took to explain things was invaluable. I'm here because I needed to vacate my home in Asheville due to Hurricane Helene. I can now drive home knowing my car is fixed and reliable. Thanks for your kind ways. I wish I didn't live so far so you could always take care of my vehicle.

Amazing mechanic. I have been to him with my car for brakes (about 2-3 months ago) and oil changes. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and is a great communicator. Honestly, don’t listen to the one negative review on here because obviously she’s the outlier. He’s really great and all of my family also takes their cars over there.

Jones Automotive Repair deserves the highest praise for the outstanding work they did on my Honda Civic. After calling several repair shops, everyone pointed me to Andy Jones as the only mechanic skilled enough to replace the head gasket, which caused my car to continuously overheat. Andy exceeded all expectations—it's been several months now, and my car has been running perfectly! Since then, Andy has worked on other vehicles for us, always delivering tremendous results. Wow. It's rare that you can say you had a great experience after any visit to a mechanic. But if your car needs service, and you are in western NC, this is the place to go! My car broke down while I was visiting customers in the area (I live in the Charlotte area). I was just 8 miles from Jones Auto and had it towed there. Andy was able to get the parts and repair my car within a few hours. Great work at a reasonable price. Thank you Jones Auto!!

I rarely post a review. However, my experience at Jones Automotive was so outstanding , I feel like I need to. I met a young a man named Andy who completed the repairs on my son’s car. He was extremely knowledgeable when I explained the problem we were having. He was kind and courteous. He got my son’s car repaired efficiently and expeditiously. I am totally satisfied with the repairs. How often do you get to say that in this world of today. It’s so good to know that in this day and time that there are still folks out there that are as good as their word. If you want and need your car fixed and repaired correctly. Then I highly recommend you take it to Andy at Jones Automotive in Sylva, NC. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. It’s an honest one.

Andy was amazing. All of the brakes in my car were messed up, so I took it to Jones Auto. He was able to replace all of them (rotors, pads, and drums), and I have had no issues since. He was upfront about his pricing, which was more affordable than other places in the area, and was honest about which parts he didn’t need to use (and didn’t charge for what he didn’t use). He did the work fast and well. He was also very kind and explained everything thoroughly. Genuinely the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I highly recommend.

5 Stars Recommend! Great customer service with great prices! Quick in and out and super easy and friendly to deal with in! Worked on both my vehicles and absolutely zero complaints! My new go to mechanic. Highly recommend! As a single mom it's very hard to find somewhere as a single woman that won't take advantage of you and try to rip you off due to going to a auto shop by yourself. No this place was not like this at all. Very open and honest about the work I needed done and fair with his prices. Made me feel comfortable and will definitely be back for future work done on my vehicles!

He did an awesome job! I called to see if I could bring my car in and he told me to drop by anytime. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. He had ordered the part for my car, installed it, made sure everything looked good, and I was on the road. Very affordable prices as well, especially for younger folks. Will definitely be back!!!
