Timely completion. So far everything looks good. Trim piece was painted the body color when it didn't come like that from factory. Thankfully, it looks good but a purist might have been disappointed. Helpful and nice staff.

Body shop did a great job on repairing the rear end of my Dodge Charger that got rear ended. Car looks good as new now. The only issue was that the trunk wasn't aligned and hard to close. Brought the car back on they made the adjustment needed, now it closes like it's supposed to. So great job again Thanks Jim

I recently brought my Dodge Charger to the Hinderer Motor Company Collision Center - part of the well-known John Hinderer dealership network in Central Ohio - for a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram (Stellantis) warranty repair. Having grown up in Central Ohio, I’ve been familiar with this dealer group for years, which made the experience all the more disappointing. I dropped off my Charger first thing Monday morning and was given a rental, which I was told was covered for five days by Stellantis based on the estimated scope of the repair. Naturally, I assumed that meant the work would be completed within that timeframe. I was also told I’d receive regular text updates throughout the process. On Tuesday, I received a message saying the vehicle was being inspected for additional damage. The next - and final - update came Thursday morning, stating that it was "in paint." When I hadn’t heard anything further, I called just before closing on Friday to check the status, only to find out that the car wouldn’t be ready until the following week. Knowing my five-day rental would run out on Saturday, I immediately reached out to discuss the situation. I sent multiple emails over the weekend, hoping for a reasonable solution. Instead, I was reminded that the rental was strictly limited to five days and that I’d be responsible for any additional charges - despite not being informed of the delay until it was too late to make other arrangements. When I spoke with the collision center manager directly on Monday, I was told that no one at the dealership could make an exception or offer any form of goodwill without the owner's approval. During this process, I was also told more than once that the dealership doesn't make money on warranty repairs. While that may be true, it left the impression that those limitations were being passed along to me - the customer - in the form of a rental bill for delays that weren’t my fault. That level of rigid policy doesn’t reflect a business focused on long-term customer relationships. It’s a reminder of why I’ve previously avoided doing business with Hinderer - the issues seem systemic, not personal. To make matters worse, when I arrived to finally pick up the car, I discovered noticeable paint defects that required the vehicle to stay an additional day for correction. While most of the people I interacted with - Michelle, Stephanie, Vansetta, Scott, and Nicona - were polite, responsive, and seemed to want to help, it was clear their hands were tied by company policy. They appeared conflicted, caught between delivering decent service and operating within limits they couldn't change. Unfortunately, those limitations left me, the customer, holding the bag. If you're searching for collision repair, paint and body work, or a vehicle warranty repair in Central Ohio, I’d strongly encourage you to ask very specific questions about repair timelines, communication, and what happens if delays occur. My experience with John Hinderer Collision Center suggests that unless everything goes exactly as planned, the customer may be left covering the consequences - without flexibility, accountability, or resolution.
