Choice 1 RV Rentals and Repair

It was our first time renting our camper. I was a little leery being I didnt know anything about the company and I also had not rented the camper before. Everyone I dealt with in the company has been extremely helpful and kind. The response time to any of my emails to them has been very quick, even if the response was something they had to find the answer to. The drop off and pick up was easy. Again, everyone was very nice and helpful. I would 100% recommend them and I look forward to working with Choice 1 again!

Our group rented a 6 person RV in the Full Monde VIP campgrounds this past weekend for the Phish festival. We had a considerable number of issues that negatively impacted our experience. A short summary includes: • All the RVs in our row and the next row were the same, 2023-2024 Aspen Trail LEs, with clean new interiors, beds, and things that worked. We had a Sunset Trail Reserve 2012-2014 RV that was over ten years old, shabby and falling apart. • Holes/blemishes in the floor created tripping hazards and were a safety issue at times when shoes were not on • Two members of the party got splinters from the kitchen bench wood • Toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom after normal gentle use with only liquids and provided TP • Fridge seemed to have good and bad days, one day was up to 47 degrees. • Techs needed to come out twice a day for the entire trip to fix things • The main bed in the back was broken and un-usable. This created anxiety within the group for the entire first day until it was fixed after the show • The stabilizers had to be tightened twice because it was so wobbly on the ends. This significantly disrupted the group’s sleep for the first two nights. • Fireplace didn't work when we were sheltered inside from the rain • Outdoor outlet was broken • Zero storage outside, and only one free cabinet inside - everything else full of owner's junk • The provided kitchen ware (plates, cups) were gross and dirty • Several interior lights did not work A few quotes from the RV techs that stopped by during the course of the weekend are listed below - “This RV shouldn’t of made it through quality control” - “I understand why you are upset, I would be upset too” - “In my opinion, the state of this RV is unacceptable and you should get a refund” The service staff were all very friendly and responsive, however given the long list of issues we don’t feel that the situation has been adequately resolved. How is it fair that we paid the same price as our neighbors yet received an outdated RV with all the issues above?
