Interstate All Battery Center Introduce
Located at 1298 S Brownell Rd, Williston, VT 05495, USA, Interstate All Battery Center functions as a specialized "Auto Repair Station" within the context of providing essential goods and services for vehicles, specifically focusing on batteries. While not a traditional mechanical repair shop, its critical role in automotive maintenance, particularly concerning vehicle electrical systems, places it within this broader category on some platforms. Since opening in 2018, this locally owned and operated franchise of the widely recognized Interstate Batteries brand has aimed to be the one-stop shop for all battery and power needs for residents and businesses in Williston and the greater Burlington area.
For inquiries or to access their range of products and services, customers can contact Interstate All Battery Center at (802) 658-9110 or via mobile at +1 802-658-9110. They operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. They are conveniently located next to Gills Point S Tire & Auto on Marshall Avenue, between I-89 South and U.S. Highway 2 East.
The typical environment of an Interstate All Battery Center is a dedicated retail space and warehouse that houses an extensive inventory of batteries. While details on the specific ambiance of the Williston location aren't fully elaborated upon in reviews, the business aims to provide a clean, organized, and accessible store where customers can find a wide variety of battery products. The core of the customer experience at a battery center revolves around product availability and knowledgeable staff. Recent reviews for this specific location, however, highlight some inconsistent experiences regarding staff knowledge and customer service interactions. One customer reported a negative phone interaction where a staff member was unwilling to provide service for a BMW battery test, suggesting a lack of professionalism. Another review noted that a staff member "had no clue what he was looking at" when attempting to assist with a battery issue, leading to the customer leaving without a purchase. These instances suggest that while the physical environment may be a standard retail setup, the quality of customer interaction and staff expertise can vary, which is a critical aspect for a specialized service provider.
Interstate All Battery Center of Williston offers an extensive and "incredible range of battery-related products and services" for virtually any application. Their core offerings include:
General Purpose Batteries: They carry a wide variety of batteries in various sizes and chemistries from top brands for everyday devices.

Specialty Batteries: This broad category includes batteries for cordless phones, garage door openers, computers (likely laptop batteries), cameras, Power Wheels™ and other ride-on toys, hearing aids, smoke detectors, fish locators, and many other household and niche devices.
Battery Testing: They offer battery testing services to assess the charge and health of a battery, helping customers determine if a replacement is needed or if their current battery can be recharged.
Battery Recycling: As a significant part of their operation, Interstate All Battery Center actively promotes and facilitates battery recycling. They recycle more batteries than they sell, working to ensure safe and responsible disposal of old batteries, including sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries and others. They've been involved in battery recycling since 1952, making it an environmentally conscious choice for disposal.
Battery Accessories: Customers can find jumper cables, terminal ends, and custom-made battery cables.
Wholesale and Commercial Accounts: Beyond individual consumers, they serve businesses of all sizes, offering fast, just-in-time delivery of fresh products and industry expertise as a dedicated commercial battery resource and partner.
Interstate All Battery Center aims to provide several benefits to its customers:
Vast Product Selection: Their most significant feature is the sheer breadth of battery types available, making them a "one-stop-shop for all your battery and power needs," as stated on their website. This extensive inventory means customers are likely to find the specific battery they need, even for specialized applications.
Brand Reputation: As an Interstate Batteries franchise, they benefit from the long-standing and trusted reputation of the Interstate Batteries brand, which is known for "outrageously dependable" products and has been a preferred choice among automotive professionals since 1952.
Local Ownership: Being locally owned and operated, they strive to provide personalized service to the Williston and Burlington communities.
Battery Recycling Program: Their commitment to recycling more batteries than they sell highlights their environmental responsibility and provides a convenient and safe disposal option for customers.
Free Battery Testing: Offering free battery testing is a valuable service that helps customers quickly diagnose battery issues without an upfront cost.
Commercial and Retail Service: They cater to both individual retail customers and large commercial accounts, demonstrating versatility in their business model.
While explicit promotional deals aren't provided in the given information, the business aims to promote itself through its comprehensive offerings and service. However, it's crucial to acknowledge the mixed customer experiences when presenting this information:
One customer had a highly negative phone interaction when trying to inquire about testing a car battery for a 2019 BMW X7, which had a potential $800 replacement cost from the dealer. The customer stated, "He said he is not going to waste time and hung up. He shouldn’t be answering phones at all." This experience contrasts sharply with the positive service received at a competitor (Advanced Auto), where a free test and charge were offered. This review highlights a significant service issue that could deter potential customers.
Another customer, who had historically purchased "every large battery" from this store, reported a disappointing in-person experience. They encountered a counter person who "didn’t know much about batteries" and "had no clue what he was looking at" when attempting to assist with a battery under the hood, leading the customer to leave. This suggests inconsistencies in staff knowledge and training.
Despite these critical reviews, the company's official website and general Interstate Batteries branding emphasize core strengths like "top-rate customer service and battery expertise" and a "friendly, energetic team." Other, more positive reviews found online (though not provided in the prompt) sometimes praise general aspects like product availability, quick service, and friendly staff. For example, some customers note that "The product is always available, and we like the quality of the batteries. Employees are always friendly. Your in and out quickly!" and "Good pricing and knowledgeable, friendly service."
In conclusion, Interstate All Battery Center in Williston, VT, offers an incredibly vast selection of batteries for nearly every conceivable application, supported by services like free testing, installation, and comprehensive recycling. As a locally owned franchise of a reputable national brand, they aim to be a convenient and reliable source for power solutions. However, potential customers should be aware that recent customer feedback indicates some inconsistencies in direct service interactions and staff knowledge, suggesting that while the product range is extensive, the customer experience may vary. For those prioritizing a wide selection of battery types and reliable brands, it remains a key local resource.

Just called the store and ask if they charge car battery and run a test. On 2019 bmw x7 2nd aux battery. BMW dealer said $800 for new battery. He said he is not going to waste time and hung up. He shouldn’t be answering phones at all. Went to advanced auto. They ran the test for free and told me 60watt lower then it should be. They will charge the battery for me for free. Told me to come back in 2hrs. Excellent service from advanced auto on park st Essex jct

I’ve bought every large battery I’ve needed from this store until today. Guy at the counter said he didn’t know much about batteries and I thought he was joking until he looked under the hood and starting asking questions. That’s when every realized he really had no clue what he was looking at, so I packed up my tools and left..

I called ahead of time and gave them the year, make and model of my car asking if they can do a battery install, they said no problem. Drove there, waited in line for nearly 30 minutes only to be told they can’t install it. Waste of time.

My battery was completely dead and it needed to be tested and re-charged. I live 25 miles away from Williston and needed to have my battery serviced as I could not drive myself to their location. Upon my request, one of the delivery drivers Steve brought a loaner battery and hauled my dead battery to get it tested and charged. A week later, I drove up to their location and since I did not have the right tools with me, they themselves removed the loaner battery and installed my newly-charged battery free of charge. The staff (Brandon, Jim, and Ryan) made sure that I was well taken care of. I am really impressed with the service that I received as well as professionalism showed throughout my interaction. I highly recommend this place for sales and service and I would definitely go back to them for my future needs.

Had my 5 year old RV/Marine battery tested at Interstate Battery Store in Willston, VT. It had been losing it’s charge faster. The gentleman working tested the battery for me abd recommended a new battery, which I purchased. He was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this store.
