I came in to see a car that I saw online. Everything was nice; I said hi to the manager, and he told me that Quentin would take care of me. We went to see the car, I test drove it, and it went well. When we came back inside, I told him that I wasn’t in love with the car, and he started to become defensive, demanding reasons why I didn’t like it. I told him that it wasn’t anything specific, just that I didn’t see myself driving it. He left to talk to some people and started to show me a Kia on his iPad. I said that I wasn’t really interested, and he started to have an aggressive tone, asking me what I was looking for. I told him that I wanted something reliable, and he went back to talk to some people again. He showed me two more cars, but at this point, I wanted to leave. I told him that I didn’t want to waste his time and that I wanted to look somewhere else. He got upset and went to his manager, Trey who came to greet me. I told him that it was nice to meet him. The first thing he told me was “What do you want?” I told him the same thing, just something reliable, but I didn’t want to stay at one spot. He also got offended and said he would let me know when they got something better in. Quentin told me to have a nice day, and we left. That experience wasn’t pleasant at all. They were so rude that even if I loved the car, I still wouldn’t give them my business. The people at Subaru are so much more helpful.

They quoted me almost 2k for a job after they sent a nice video detailing of the issues and how the car should be good (except for minor stuff) after they fix those issues. I speak to the manager there and ask if fixing the discussed issues will ensure the main issue is fixed. He says he can't guarantee anything, but it "should". Well, the following week, I am told (after I call them) what they "thought" the issue was, seems wasn't the only issue. Tells me they are working with their engineers or whatever to see what else it could be and would follow up with me. Well, this place has terrible follow-up abilities. I end up calling about a week and a half later to check on the status. The manager tells me he was waiting on me to tell him what I want to do because it's the transmission, and that would run 10k or more, etc. First of all, this manager is acting like I haven't been waiting a week and a half on an update. No apology for not following up or anything. Then tells me I am stuck with the bill and my car is still in the same condition as I took it and I have to pay you $1800? I feel like I was taken advantage of.

I got a recall notice for my car so I scheduled an appointment on my day off to have it addressed. I got up early and spent over an hour driving there and back to be told that the recall notice was poorly worded and that they would only do something if my car was having the check engine light on, which it was not... The fact that I booked this over a week ahead of time and nobody took the 30 seconds to call and explain this to me, especially given that I was told I was one of many customers that had this experience and were frustrated by it is very poor customer service and was a huge waste of my time for nothing. I also had to apologize to a friend who also wasted their time by driving and hour to/from as my ride. A little bit of communication can go a long way....

Excellent Service! Will At the Hunter Hyundai service department was very courteous, knowledgeable, fast, and helpful. While my car was serviced, I waited in an air-conditioned room full of coffee and snacks, and a very clean restroom.
