Hometown Garage

I was so stressed about finding a mechanic in Laramie for my daughter's car. She is a student at UW and I am 400 miles away. I have had very bad experiences with mechanics and was on a very tight budget. Austin at Hometown Garage was SO nice and not only did an excellent job with the repair, but also did it in a blink! He was upfront and HONEST about cost from start to finish. I am so happy and I feel a huge sense of relief! Will definitely use them for all services and/or repairs while my daughter is going to school there.

New to town and my car went down suddenly. Hometown was recommended so I gave them a call. The guy on the phone was extremely helpful and was able to get me in the next day. I dropped my car off the next morning and this garage definitely has a hometown feel, nothing like the big chain shops..... He assured me they'd take a look and figure out the problem as soon as possible. I just assumed (based off other car shops in the past) that I'd get a call in a day or so. Surprisingly I got a call in just a few hours with the diagnosis. It was. Pretty serious fix. He worked with me on finding a solution that fit what I could afford (it's a very old car). Luckily he said he could shop around town and get the parts and have it fixed by the end of the following day. Then a few hours later I got another surprise call saying they were able to get the parts and have it fixed by that same day. All that just to say this, I will never take another car of mine anywhere else than Hometown. They exceeded my expectations.

I've taken my car here for repairs a handful of times and feel like they are straight shooters. Repairs have been great and now I get my oil change here as well. This is the place I recommend if anyone asks for auto repair. Plus the location is convenient for me being near downtown and walkable after dropping off the vehicle.

Chose Hometown Garage on the recommendation of other UW parents. Nick was great to work with. The car needed brakes so those were fixed promptly then he inspected the rest of the car for potential future issues. No up-selling or over charging. Much appreciated!

As a grandmother who just lost her son due to a drunk driving incident. I want to thank you for your donation. In changing the breaks on the only car they have left. The tragic loss of my son really impact us very much. All I have left from my son Richard is his wife which is my daughter and my grandkids. I want them safe as possible. We have been using the vehicle to help Angel with his physical therapy. Who also was inside the car during that tragic crash. We are driving an hour away when Angel has to go to his physical therapy.
