Harrison-Rye Glass & Mirror Co Introduce

Harrison-Rye Glass & Mirror Co. is a prominent and long-standing glass and mirror specialist operating out of Mamaroneck, NY, serving the greater Westchester County area, including Harrison and Rye. While the platform category provided is "Auto Repair Stations," it's important to clarify that Harrison-Rye Glass & Mirror Co. primarily specializes in glass and mirror services, which can include automotive glass repair (like windshields and car windows), but their core business extends far beyond traditional auto mechanical repairs. They are a dedicated glass company, providing a comprehensive range of solutions for residential, commercial, and indeed, automotive glass needs.

Environment: A Hub of Craftsmanship and Specialized Equipment

The environment at Harrison-Rye Glass & Mirror Co. is that of a specialized workshop and showroom, focused on the intricate art and precision of glass and mirror fabrication and installation. You can expect a clean, organized space where large sheets of glass and various mirror types are safely stored and cut to precise specifications. Their facility is equipped with specialized machinery for cutting, beveling, polishing, and tempering glass, allowing for custom projects. For automotive glass, there would be dedicated bays or areas where vehicles can be brought in for windshield replacement or car window repairs, ensuring a protected and controlled environment for installation. The showroom area, if present, would display various glass products, finishes, and hardware options, allowing customers to visualize possibilities for their homes or businesses. The overall atmosphere is one of skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail, reflecting the delicate and precise nature of working with glass.

  • Showcasing Portfolio/Testimonials: Their website or physical location might feature a gallery of past projects, demonstrating their craftsmanship and the breadth of their capabilities. Positive customer testimonials are also a strong form of promotion.

Harrison-Rye Glass & Mirror Co Customer Reviews

Just save yourself the trouble. He said he would but a lien on our house because we asked him to leave. I hate to even give them one star. This was hands down the worst experience in any home improvement jobs I ever had done. I ordered two replacement windows that took twice the amount of time then initially told. He shows up without letting us know he was coming to install that day. He comes with guys that had so much trouble removing the original window. Their perfume of choice: weed. Finally they decide to install the new window without fully removing the original frames. We thought the next day they would fix it but no it was just as bad and they left without finishing because we asked him to leave. Run away!!!!!!

STAY AWAY at any cost. Mark has serious mental issues, do not let this man in your house. I rarely write reviews, but I felt in this case I had to warn everyone. He will agree to do your job at a very low price with a signed contract, but the job will never get done and he will keep your down payment. The company has no money, so good luck trying to get it back. In my case I paid half up front as agreed upon in the contract ($16,500). The balance was to be paid when the job was completed. He called me a week before the work was supposed to start and said he needed another $14,000. I said I’m sorry but that wasn’t the agreement and to please reread the contract. He said contracts were made to be broken, they don’t mean anything. When I refused he went absolutely crazy! He cursed and screamed calling me every name in the book, he even threatened me. I’m obviously going to take him to court, but I’m not very hopeful because as I said before, the company has no money. Please take this warning seriously.

Mark is also nasty and rude. Unprofessional and sloppy. He came to fix my bay window during the winter. They had a hard time and decided to break the glass instead of replacing the whole frame. I opened the window for the first time and it wouldn't close, is lopsided as a result of them trying to force the window out. When I called him, he said there's nothing he can do and he didn't break it and hung up on me. He doesn't know what he's doing.

Mark P does not pay his contractors. If you do work for him get your money up front. He doesn't know how to do anything, he relies on other people to do the work then he doesn't pay them. He's very unprofessional and rude. I will never recommend him to anyone.

Joe is nasty, unprofessional and came off as a miserable person and he never even got a chance to look at the work I wanted to get done, this was all conveyed in a 3 minute phone call? His customer service skills suck and if asked, I will have to tell my clients in Harrison, Mamaroneck and Rye to use another glass company. Karma Joe Karma.
