Grizzly Customs Introduce

This introduction addresses Grizzly Customs, located at 1002 Weiss Ave, Fayetteville, NC 28305, operating within the Auto Repair Stations category. It is crucial to preface this description by stating that the publicly available information regarding Grizzly Customs consists primarily of negative customer reviews, which raise significant concerns about their business practices and service quality. This introduction aims to present an objective summary based on this available information, without omitting any of the critical feedback.

Based on the limited information available online, details regarding the physical environment of Grizzly Customs are not provided. Therefore, it is not possible to describe the shop's facilities, equipment, or customer waiting areas. The focus of the available information is overwhelmingly on reported customer experiences with their services.

The services that Grizzly Customs purportedly offers fall under the broad category of auto repair. This would typically include a range of services aimed at repairing and maintaining vehicles, potentially encompassing mechanical repairs, bodywork, and customization, given the name "Customs." However, the customer reviews provide specific accounts of issues related to the completion of work, the fulfillment of agreed-upon services, and communication.

One of the most significant features highlighted by the reviews is a pattern of extended delays in completing vehicle repairs. One customer reported waiting for eleven months for their car to be finished, only to find that the shop had moved without the work being completed. This raises serious concerns about project management, timelines, and communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.

Another critical feature reported is the practice of requiring payment for services prior to the work being done. While prepayment is not uncommon in some industries, the subsequent failure to complete the work as agreed, as described in the reviews, suggests a problematic business practice. One customer explicitly stated having paid for services on October 17th, 2022, with no results to date, indicating a complete lack of service delivery despite receiving payment.

Furthermore, follow-up communication appears to be a significant issue. The same customer who reported the eleven-month delay also mentioned that the owner, Francis McMillan, was not responding to calls or messages two weeks after the initial negative review. This lack of communication exacerbates the frustration and financial loss experienced by customers who have entrusted their vehicles and money to Grizzly Customs.

The reviews also indicate a pattern of negative interactions beyond just the lack of completed work. One reviewer mentioned "multiple complaints about attitude and service by other customers," suggesting that the issues are not isolated incidents and that there may be broader dissatisfaction with the way Grizzly Customs conducts its business and interacts with its clientele.

A particularly alarming aspect highlighted in the feedback is the alleged misappropriation of funds. One customer stated that "thousands and thousands of dollars missing," implying that payments made for services or parts were not accounted for or used appropriately. This is a severe accusation that points to potential financial mismanagement or even fraudulent activity.

Another customer provided a detailed account of leaving their vehicle with Grizzly Customs for six months before any work was done. Upon receiving the car back, they discovered that $1,700.00 worth of work, for which the insurance company had paid Grizzly Customs, had not been completed. Despite an alleged "100% satisfaction guarantee," the customer reported that Grizzly Customs did not rectify the issues when asked, and the work remained incomplete after almost a year of dealing with them.

Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the publicly available customer reviews, there is no indication of any promotional information or features that would typically attract customers. The feedback strongly suggests significant issues with service delivery, communication, and financial practices. Potential local users should be aware of these serious allegations and exercise extreme caution when considering engaging with Grizzly Customs.

In conclusion, based on the information available, Grizzly Customs at 1002 Weiss Ave in Fayetteville, NC, appears to be a business with a history of significant customer dissatisfaction. The reported issues include extensive delays in service completion, failure to perform paid services, lack of communication from the owner, allegations of poor attitude and service, and serious concerns about missing funds and unfulfilled guarantees. These reviews paint a concerning picture and should serve as a strong warning to potential customers in the Fayetteville area. It is recommended that individuals seeking auto repair services in Fayetteville thoroughly research and consider alternative options with more positive and reliable customer feedback. The next step for at least one affected customer is reported to be the legal system, underscoring the severity of the issues raised.

Grizzly Customs had my vehicle for 6 months before he did work on it. After getting my car back I found that he had not done $1,700.00 worth of work that the insurance company paid him to do. He says he offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee but he doesn't fix the problems when asked to do so. I have been dealing with him for almost a year and the work is still not done.

Mac and his team did an amazing job on my SUV. The rear passenger door was dinged through the paint, down to the metal, and they were able to make it look as good as new, which was great considering the car was only 2 weeks old! I will definitely be recommending Grizzly Customs to everyone I know who needs any body or paint work!

These guys don’t just do good work, what they do is mind-blowing!! And you’re going to get so much more from them than your average paint shop. Highly recommended.
