Environment and Customer Experience

The customer experience at Wiggs Auto, LLC, as reflected in available reviews, presents a dichotomy. One customer reports a highly positive interaction, stating that it's "hard nowadays to find good honest people that will do an honest job." This individual found the business to have "great communication, fair pricing and just an overall great experience," leading them to declare, "Wiggs auto has earned my business for life." This review suggests that for some patrons, Wiggs Auto delivers on the promise of trustworthy and satisfactory service.

However, another customer's detailed account of a front-end alignment service portrays a significantly different experience. This customer, knowledgeable about vehicle mechanics, highlighted several points of concern:

  • An initial quote for an alignment that could increase by $50 for camber/caster adjustments, which was acceptable.

  • A promised one-hour service that extended to three hours.

  • The main point of contention: the shop only adjusted the toe on a newly rebuilt front end (where over $1000 in parts had been installed) and then quoted an additional $691 to adjust the camber on one side. The customer, understanding that camber adjustment primarily involves loosening two bolts on their specific setup, felt this quote was an attempt to overcharge for a simple procedure or sell unnecessary repairs.

  • The observation that the shop employee seemed to tell "every single person that went to the window all the things that were wrong with their vehicle," leading to a feeling of "instilling fear into people so they will bring their vehicles back."

  • The customer's strong advice to "get a second opinion" if one doesn't know much about vehicle maintenance, implying a potential for misrepresentation or overselling of services.

This stark contrast in experiences suggests that while some customers may find Wiggs Auto to be honest and fair, others, particularly those with a deeper understanding of automotive repairs, may encounter issues related to transparency, pricing practices, and diagnostic integrity. This indicates that the customer service experience can be highly inconsistent, leading to both loyalty and significant dissatisfaction.

Services Offered

Operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, Wiggs Auto, LLC, provides general automotive services. Based on the provided reviews, their known services include:

  • Front-End Alignment: This service is explicitly mentioned, though the customer's experience highlights potential issues with its execution and pricing structure. A proper front-end alignment involves adjusting the toe, camber, and caster angles to ensure correct wheel positioning, optimal tire wear, and vehicle handling.

  • General Vehicle Servicing Needs: One review indicates a customer's intention to return for "all my servicing needs," suggesting that Wiggs Auto handles routine maintenance. This would typically include services such as:

    • Oil changes

    • Fluid checks and top-offs

    • Tire rotations and balancing

    • Brake inspections and repairs

    • General diagnostics for various vehicle issues

Without further details from their official website or more comprehensive customer feedback, the full scope of their services beyond basic maintenance and alignments is not definitively known. However, as an "Auto Repair Station," they are expected to address common automotive problems that local drivers encounter.

Features and Key Considerations

Key features of Wiggs Auto, LLC, as described by customers, include:

  • Communication (Variable): One customer praised "great communication," while the detailed negative review indicates a breakdown in communication regarding the scope of work for an alignment and potentially misleading explanations about required repairs.

  • Pricing (Variable): "Fair pricing" is mentioned positively by one, but the quoted $691 for a simple camber adjustment on a truck with new parts raised significant concerns about price reasonableness for another.

  • Efficiency (Variable): The "in and out" promise for the alignment was unmet, taking three times longer than estimated, which impacts efficiency for customers.

The most crucial aspect for potential customers of Wiggs Auto, LLC, is the inconsistency in service quality and transparency. While some customers find them to be honest and fair, others have experienced practices that suggest upselling or inflating repair costs. The specific concern about charging for a full alignment but only adjusting the toe, then attempting to charge a high price for a seemingly simple camber adjustment, is a significant red flag for customers who understand vehicle mechanics.

The practice of "instilling fear into people" by broadly listing problems with every vehicle is a manipulative sales tactic, which, if true, severely undermines trust and integrity. This highlights the importance of getting a second opinion for any recommended extensive repairs, especially if the initial diagnosis or pricing seems questionable.

Promotional Information

No specific, ongoing promotional offers or deals for Wiggs Auto, LLC, are detailed in the provided information. Businesses typically rely on their reputation and customer service to attract and retain clients. In this case, the promotional messaging is a mixed bag, with one strong endorsement countered by a highly critical account.

For potential customers in Fayetteville, the "promotional" takeaways are:

  • There is a possibility of a "great experience" with "honest people" and "fair pricing," as noted by one loyal customer.

  • However, there's also a clear warning to be highly vigilant, understand the specifics of the work being done, and potentially seek a second opinion for recommended repairs, particularly regarding alignment and complex part replacements, as per the detailed negative review.

The best course of action for anyone considering Wiggs Auto, LLC, would be to contact them directly to discuss their specific needs, get clear, itemized quotes for services, and inquire about their diagnostic process. It is advisable to be well-informed about your vehicle's issues before visiting any repair shop, especially when dealing with potentially inconsistent service experiences.

Ok I’m gonna tell you just like it is. I took my truck to them to get a front end alignment. I called and got an appointment for 2/10/25. They told me on the phone the alignment was 80$ if they had to adjust the camber or the caster it was an extra 50$. Ok no problem 130$. Was told it would take about an hour to do it. 3 hours later they call me to the window. Gonna tell you just a little bit about my truck. I just spent over a 1000$ in parts and replaced everything on the front end. All Moog parts and Dirt King Fabrication cam adjusters (which are not cheap). I did all the work myself and was very happy at the end results. I’m not sure if most people know what a front end alignment is so I’m going to tell you. It consists of adjusting the Toe adjusting the Camber and adjusting the Caster. Depending on your front end suspension it may also include the torsion bars. So the guy proceeds to tell me that they only adjusted the toe on my truck and if I wanted them to adjust the camber on the right side only it was going to cost me 691$. He said he would have to take the upper control arm off and replace the cam adjusters to get the camber right. To adjust the camber all they needed to do was loosen 2 bolts. Now they didn’t do a front end alignment but charged me for one. He had a list of things that I needed to fix on my truck. I was not there to have my truck inspected. Final note. I listened to this guy tell every single person that went to the window all the things that were wrong with their vehicle. I call that instilling fear into people so they will bring their vehicles back. If you don’t know much about vehicle maintenance I would suggest getting a second opinion.

Best place in town to get car serviced that I have experienced. Everyone was extremely friendly and the prices were incredible. They went above and beyond by providing a Mother’s Day gift bag which was adorable. I have found where I will take my car from now on.

I called Wiggs Auto, LLC and spoke directly to a mechanic. I believe her name was Mackenzie. I described my issue, in detail, and she assured me they could assist. She also informed me that if they could diagnosis the issue within 15 minutes, there would be no charge. I initially thought this was a gimmick to get the car there, but I felt reassured after to speaking to her so, the next week I brought my car in. She wasn’t in, but another mechanic assisted me. I decided to wait for my car, but didn’t have to wait long. Within 10 minutes, the mechanic called me to my car, diagnosed the issue, and believe it or not, there was no charge. I was very happy with the service I was provided and will most certainly be returning. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Great Service. 5 Stars!

Very happy with the services I received today. Customer service was outstanding! I was in and out in less time than I expected and my car is riding better than it was when I brought it in. Still needs a little work which they recommended, but I definitely can tell a difference. Highly recommend!!!
