I received a defective tailgate for a 2024 Chevy 2500 HD. It has been a week since I have sent all of the Information they had requested to back up my claim. Since then, they have ghosted me. Also, when I ordered the part they gave me a shipping rate. Which was one of the reasons I bought it from them. Then right before it was shipped they added an additional $169 to the shipping. Don’t think this is open and honest policies. I will re-review once they get back to me. I am not a person who just goes on line and posts negative reviews. I do way more many positive reviews than negative. But this one hits the negative column! Buyer beware. Update. Retuned the part. They denied my claim. Have attorney contacted. I will get my money back. They are deceptive.

Excellent place to buy oem parts from for any GM application. I purchased most of my body parts from here and they were relatively cheaper than other websites and the shipping cost was reasonable. Not everything is the cheapest, I needed a grille for my vehicle which was going to cost an outrageous amount on shipping on this website so I went elsewhere to get that but as far as everything else goes, on point, oem and cheaper than the rest. Would definitely recommend.

A word of CAUTION for anybody thinking about doing business with GMPartsGiant.com. If you by chance get a defective part they will insist that you take it to a dealership and have them diagnose the problem before issuing an RMA for a return. It is their way to make it painful for the customer and dealing with parts that may be defective. More often than not, I would suspect a diagnostic fee is more than the part. Which is why they do this. Their customer service is extremely poor. Ordered a DEF tank heater (GM part # 84412929) due to check engine light P205B. Replaced part and about 3 weeks later started getting DEF level low issues when tank was full. DEF level sensor is part of this part. And I did not have the issue prior to replacing this part. It was trying to send my truck into limp mode which eventually is limited to 4 mph. Which tells me that the part is defective. GMPartsGiant refused to allow me to send part back and wouldn't even give me an RMA until I paid the dealer a $225 diagnostic fee for a $284 part. None of my vehicles go to a shop unless it is warranty or a recall. I have the factory service manual to this vehicle too. I had 2 local service advisors tell me that they have seen this part bad out of the box. This part failing is a known issue on the LML Duramax. I ordered another (GM part # 84412929) part elsewhere and it solved all of my problems, yet GMPartsGiant.com refuses to allow me to return the part and refuses to refund my money. I will never do business with GMPartsGiant.com again going forward. Even if I do pay a few dollars more. I would give 0 stars if I could.

0 stars if possible. Ordered some car parts to be delivered to a business. They instead tried to send it to my home/billing address but did not have the full address (because it wasn't meant to go to my home) and it was returned to sender (GM). I was told I had to reorder the item (which I did through a different vendor to avoid this from happening again). 2 weeks later the parts from GM get delivered to my home. I called and ask for a return shipping label which I haven't received to date and I ordered this end of November 2024. They won't give me my full refund, they are charging me for returns shipping and restocking fee when this whole ordeal was a mess up on their end. Spoke with countless customer service reps and managers. They were all absolutely no help, no email they said they would send. I even sent the confirmation email I received from them with the shipping details being a business and I was told they that I could email them as many things as I wanted and it still wouldn't be approved. I've spent 2 months of my life dealing with these thieves. I do not recommend this company, 5 thumbs down.

They shipped the wrong part number. It does not match what I paid for. I sent it back and they signed for it. They claim returns are processed in 5 days. I called at 7 days. They said they do have it but give them one more day. I called at 14 days. They said give them a few more days. I called at 21 days. still said it wasn't processed. there's nothing they can do. It is now going into 5 weeks and they will not process the return and credit my account. They say it is waiting to be processed and no one has looked at it yet. This is beyond ridiculous that they will not make this right when they sent the wrong part in the first place!
