On top of that, Cary has the expertise that few have. They are intuitive and specially-skilled, in addition to being kind, honest, and well-priced. I challenge you to find anyone better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND German Auto Pros!!! I paid a "mechanic" $3,800 to work on my 2012 Audi A4 after the timing chain went only to have it Bleed 1 quart of oil every 100 miles. I met with Cary (owner of GAP) and he identified immediately that the work wasn't done properly after a bleed down test. I authorized him to make it right. It required a complete engine rebuild honing the head and cylinders. He and his team did an AMAZING job!!! Little did I know when I met Cary that he would dial in my A4, but I would wind up with a dear friend!!! We share common interests and we developed a friendship that has extended beyond the business transaction!!! MAD KUDOS to Cary and his TEAM!!!!!

Worst experience ever! No communication, have to text, and they won’t even call when you have a problem. Took them 3 months to put a motor in my car, and haven’t been able to drive it yet. Has been misfiring since I left the lot! The said “oh it’s just a coil” I’m not dumb I already checked that….it has a destroyed cylinder! Supposedly the motor has 38k on it and it was “tested” before installed….highly doubt that! Never ever would I recommend them to anyone!

I drove from New York (4 hour trip) for service and would definitely come back! I got booked for a last min Saturday appointment with no issues. The staff were friendly and super knowledgeable when it came to my engine- the popular Audi 3.0 supercharged. The manager got me a killer deal on a Milltek exhaust! So I dropped by for a quick install and oil change. Since I was coming from New York, I spent the weekend exploring Cleveland which was a nice bonus! I'll be coming back next year for a more technical service (notorious PVC & water pump service) along with another weekend in Cleveland!

Hate to be leaving a bad review but don't want others to find themselves in my position. I brought my VW in on September 11 for an undiagnosed no-start issue. I knew there was a problem in the fuel system as I had purchased the car with disclosure from the seller. I disclosed that the car was a new purchase and that I knew there might be more wrong than I knew, but was hoping to have them learn more and be paid for this diagnosis. After about 2.5 weeks, I was told the car needed a distributor because of no spark. I immediately approved that repair and I paid $528 right when the invoice was sent on September 28. They said the car had old gas and would need to be drained and it would be $489 in parts + 140 in labor, fine (note that the distributor is commonly found online for ~$150, I understand this is a business but this is easily a 2x mark up, more than most dealers). After weeks of "it will be ready next week" I finally went in person to check to find the car sitting in the lot with the interior in pieces and old parts strewn across the rear floor. The old gas was still in the car but the distributor had been replaced. I confronted the shop and was essentially told, "either be patient or we can charge you thousands for work," though no work had been done outside of what I had paid for. I paid the outstanding balance for the labor to drain the fuel (though this was not done) and removed my car from the premises, and when I went back to have the car towed at my earliest convenience, I was approached by someone in the shop that threatened me saying, "You cannot take the key like that. Get that car off my property now." It's unfortunate that there are people conducting such poor business. In the end, I asked why they would not have just declined to work on the car, which is completely reasonable. To which I was told that they could work on it, but left out the part about the car being there for 46 days and $679 later with the same existing issue I brought it there for. I'm sure the response will be that they replaced the distributor and the car now had spark, which is fine. Heed all the other poor reviews found here unlike I did. Avoid this place at all costs.

I've been dealing with the team at GAP for years. Always a great experience. Just took care of timing chain replaced on my MK3 VR6 and during the process informed me of some other things that were going to need taken care of very soon that was already accessible during the work I took it in for. They handled tidying up the cooling system as well as tossing in a new clutch I had provided while the vehicle was apart for timing. These guys even went out of their way to adjust my parking brake so that it was functioning without me even asking. Just be patient and let these guys take care of your euro.
