Car was repaired there and will never return for anything ever again. Roof damage was fix there on a fairly new car. They returned the car fixed but did not completely attach both sun visors, seat belt or side airbags. All of this equipment popped out while driving home. Did a U-turn came back and no one would be able to touch the car until Monday. They probably out source this work. On Monday the was taken in for an additional day and all the wacky stuff was fixed. Will never return and I do not recommend this shop to anyone. If those airbags had gone off we could have been hit in the face pretty hard. Lastly they left smudges all on the roof’s interior…I noticed it but my wife hasn’t yet. It’s her car and right now I just don’t wanna hear any more yelling about how much she strongly dislikes this place.

Although my car wasn’t able to be repaired I’m super glad I chose gerber! The insurance quoted a new bumper and fender for under $2k. A lazy shop would slap it on and let me walk but they uncovered frame and radiator damage when it was removed and had to total it but it’s the best thing for my family. Also very understanding when we had to unload it. Although it was parked in a tree and not startable 😆 oh and this Honda odyssey took a shot and my son was safe when a lady blew a red light into him to him turning. Airbags deployed in her car only. She was issued a ticket. He was safe.

I had a deer collision around 5am, once the insurance and tow was all taken care of I arrived at Gerber around 7:30am. Tom opened up a little bit early so I could wait inside, and contacted Enterprise for me to get the rental process started due to the early hour. They kept in touch with updates on my car at each step of the repair process, finished ahead of the projected completion date, and detailed my car. Great experience all around, I didn't have to worry about anything.

***Very deceitful and illegal practices to obtain business. I DO NOT recommend working with this company.*** I dropped of my vehicle on a Sunday evening (completely drivable and safe) they called the following day with instructions to be at their shop after work and fill out authorization form to begin work. I arrive with the front end already removed with headlight missing! Meanwhile I had never signed any authorization to begin work and would have not made the repairs through them based on turnaround alone. They [KNOWINGLY] made that impossible by removing the front end before my arrival. Their manager assured it would be done before 2 weeks. Yet at that point there was nothing I could do. Now their eta is nearly 3 weeks out. 0/10

They’re working on my Mazda 3, putting a new bummer/lip in. They’ve been very efficient and professional. I’ve been to Cole’s Collision & Gerber is just as good if not better so far. Guy working the front desk (bad w/ names) is such a great dude to work with. I have faith in these technicians, they usually make the final product look like factory from Japan or wherever your car was built. I actually bought this car in Syracuse at a Gerber dealership, not sure if they’re the same company as this body shop but I’ve been in the capital region all 23 years of my life and I’ve never had a more pleasant experience as a car guy. Thank you❤️
