I am very disappointed with the service I have been receiving. My family has been loyal customers for many years..over a decade. It seems that the quaily of the service has gotten a lot worse. I had them put wheels on my car and they ordered new lugg nuts. Then they told me that I would have to bring my car to a tire shop because it "might need spacers" . It indeed did need something done, since it started shaking at 45mph. Well, it turns out that my car did NOT need spacers, it needed hub centric rings. Also they put the lugg nuts on way too tight apparently they weren't even tourched and the mechanic at the tire shop had a really hard time getting them off. I'm not sure i will ever return to General Muffler.

Seeing reviews about how friendly the staff are is surprising considering the “care” I received. I called this past Wednesday to see about bringing my car in and was told to come by tomorrow no need for an appointment. Great, I get there at 9:30 am. There were some electrical trucks in the parking lot so I wasn’t sure they were open but me and another customer who arrived at the same time tried the door and it was unlocked so we went in. There was no one in there at the front counter but we heard voices and soon two employees walked through the door and gruffly said we’re closed can’t you see that?!? We both said understood but the front door is unlocked just so you know. To which point we were told of course how else were the workers supposed to get in?!! Cool dude, this was my first time going to get my car serviced since moving here and came based on recommendations from neighbors, ha! I headed across the street to another shop where I was greeted kindly and my car was serviced promptly and was more affordable than general mufflers quote for the same work. I understand things happen out of your control that may prevent business from happening that day but how you choose to treat clients on those moments speaks volumes.
