Gay Mark Tire & Wheel Introduce

For vehicle owners and businesses in Cassadaga, NY, and surrounding communities including Jamestown, Fredonia, and Stockton, **Gay Mark Tire & Wheel** serves as a prominent local establishment within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. Located at 6624 NY-60, Cassadaga, NY 14718, USA, this business positions itself as a comprehensive solution for automotive repair, tire sales, and wheel services. Their phone number is (716) 962-9315, and a mobile contact is also available at +1 716-962-9315.

As an "Auto Repair Station," Gay Mark Tire & Wheel offers a blend of services that cater to both routine maintenance and more complex mechanical issues. While the name highlights tires and wheels, their service catalog indicates a broader automotive repair capability. This makes them a versatile option for local users seeking a single point of contact for various vehicle needs.

The **environment** at Gay Mark Tire & Wheel, as can be gleaned from general information about auto repair shops and some customer feedback, would typically include a service bay area for vehicle work, a reception or waiting area for customers, and possibly a retail space for tires and parts. Online information specifies that they offer amenities such as free coffee, free Wi-Fi, and TV in their waiting room, indicating an effort to provide a comfortable experience for customers while their vehicles are being serviced. They also provide a 24-hour key drop, which is a convenient feature for after-hours vehicle drop-offs. The business hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturday and Sunday being closed. They emphasize being a NAPA AutoCare center, which typically implies adherence to certain standards of quality and professionalism in their facility and services.

The **services** offered by Gay Mark Tire & Wheel are extensive, covering a wide range of automotive needs, beyond just tires. Their core offerings include:

  • **Tire Sales and Services:** They offer a vast selection of tires from leading brands such as Bridgestone, Firestone, and Fuzion, catering to passenger cars, performance vehicles, light trucks, SUVs, and specialized commercial, farm, industrial, and Off-the-Road (OTR) tires. Tire services include mounting, balancing (including computer spin balancing), flat tire repair, and tire rotation.
  • **General Auto Repair:** Beyond tires, they provide comprehensive automotive repair services. These include:
    • Brake repairs
    • Wheel alignments
    • Electrical system repairs
    • Exhaust system repairs
    • Steering and suspension system repairs
    • Engine diagnostics
    • TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) adjustments
    • State inspections
    • Oil changes and other routine maintenance
  • **Specialized Services:** They also offer mobile tire service, particularly useful for farm or commercial vehicles that cannot easily be brought to the shop. Some sources also indicate they provide mobile repair, truck repair, trailer repair, and even towing service, further solidifying their role as a full-service automotive provider.

The **features** that set Gay Mark Tire & Wheel apart are multifaceted. They highlight their "well-trained staff specializing in the sale and installation" of various tire types, suggesting expertise in this core area. Their commitment to customer service is a foundational element, as stated on their website. Being a NAPA AutoCare Center is a significant feature, as it implies adherence to a strict Code of Ethics, including performing high-quality diagnostic and repair services at a fair price using quality NAPA parts, employing ASE-certified technicians, being dedicated to customer satisfaction, and providing a system for fair settlement of customer complaints. The "new ownership since the beginning of 2014" also indicates a potential refresh in management and service approach. The availability of free Wi-Fi, coffee, and a 24-hour key drop enhances customer convenience.

However, an objective introduction requires acknowledging varied customer experiences. While one customer praises them as a "go-to shop" where "Nick is great" and the team "hit a home run Everytime," highlighting trust, understanding of situations, and optimal solutions, another review paints a picture of significant dissatisfaction. This negative feedback describes unchipper, distracted, and condescending receptionist behavior, and an "odd" mechanic with communication issues and a lack of personal space, leading to a negative experience regarding a tire leak and axle issue. This discrepancy suggests that while some customers experience exceptional service, others may encounter inconsistencies in staff demeanor and customer interaction. The "50/50" sentiment from another review further supports this notion of variable experiences, indicating that service can be either good or bad.

For **promotional information**, Gay Mark Tire & Wheel, as a NAPA AutoCare center, likely participates in national NAPA promotions, which can include deals on replacement parts, accessories, oil, and chemicals. Their website also advertises "monthly deals" and "latest deals." They also offer autocare financing, which can be a valuable option for customers needing to manage repair costs. The mention of accepting Snap Finance also points to flexible payment options for customers. Their commitment to competitive prices on tire brands like Bridgestone, Firestone, and Fuzion is also a form of promotion, emphasizing value to the customer. Their active online presence and stated focus on customer service aim to attract and retain clientele.

In summary, Gay Mark Tire & Wheel in Cassadaga, NY, functions as a comprehensive automotive service center, offering a broad range of tire sales and services alongside general vehicle repairs. They aim to provide a convenient and quality experience, supported by their NAPA AutoCare affiliation and customer-focused amenities. However, prospective customers should be aware that while many have positive experiences, some past reviews highlight potential inconsistencies in customer service and communication. Therefore, clear communication of needs and expectations during service interactions may be beneficial for a smooth experience.

Gay Mark Tire & Wheel Customer Reviews

Went here with a tire leaking talk to the receptionist on the phone she was having a struggle with the conversation she was condicending then I got in to place and she was far from chipper distracted and unhappy for some reason and still struggling with conversation. A guy named Chuck or Shawn comes out middle aged and an army hat. he was rather odd came up to me like he was upset with flat expressions and slow and limited speech and didn't get the key even though it was right in front of him and I had to get it then couldn't figure out how to open the trunk. A few minutes later calls me to come out and treated me like a misbehaved 12 year old upset with me because my axle was messed up again in my space while he did. After the receptionists mood did not improve it got worse she started acting like she couldn't hear wanting me to repeat everything and still mistyped almost everything. Then the mechanic refused to answer questions about the severity of the axle issue and insisted and wanted to shake my hand with his greasy hand and fit upset with me because I thought it was dirty. This guy has some issues with personal space and communication skills I don't think he should be talking to customers My first was good so I came back now I don't because it's only 50/50 could be good could bad. I'm gonna have to try another shop

Not happy one bit . Was ther today to have brake lines replaced , got home and it’s leaking more than when I brought it all the plastic clips were taken off and just patched together with zip ties , the left the old brake line there to zip tie every thing to tether and charged me 361.00$ for that I wanted my brake lines ran at least good enough to pass a future inspection now I have to pay a lot more the kept all the clips and even stole my Small brand new pipe cutter ! When Warren was there they did good work ! Wow already had to put more brake fluid in and just drove home it’s freaking worse than when I brought it there for all that money I thought it would be done proper!!!! Shame on you folks !

9/2/2021 - Stopped in to get 4 new tires and an alignment done. Was told they couldn’t do the alignment because I might have a bad right side bearing. I asked what they would charge to replace the bearing. Was quoted $412 for ONE bearing. I nearly choked on the quote because I know better (years of experience but was trying to save time). Left their shop. Got back to families where Ive been staying for the summer and called around and checked online. The bearing is sold separately or in the hub assembly. Bearings were between $20-$60 ea. The entire hub was between $50 (1 yr warranty)-$140 (premium) but Advance Auto Parts wanted $200 (3 yr warranty). The hub has the bearing and sensor all in one. Was told its a 45 min. job by someone that just did theirs the day before. This shops sign says $90/hr. The tires were fairly priced as I checked on those too. But the bearing quote was absolute theft. No matter how you figure the parts + labor they aren’t close to $412! Ex1: $200 + 1 hr labor $90 = $290 + taxes. Ex2: $140 + 1 hr labor $90 = $230 + taxes. Ex3: $50 + 1 hr labor $90 = $140 + taxes. All examples bought the whole hub assembly + 1 hr labor at $90/hr and NY state taxes. Customer beware. This shop is overcharging‼️They should be ashamed of this level of quality. Decided to just do the work myself. Can’t stand greed! Makes me so sad. Businesses should be building positive customer relationships not ripping people off during a rough time for the country 🇺🇸. If I have future engagements with this business I will update this accordingly. Thank you. God bless. ✡️✝️🙏❤️🔥🗡👑 #LoveWins ⚡️… swindlers will not inherit the Kingdom of God. #Warning 🚨 9/9/2021 - jobs done. $135. 45 mins labor.
