Do NOT take your car here. I was told around $10,000 for rear quarter replacement and paint on my 1977 Trans Am. Dropped car off 10/22 with a $5000 deposit. Sat outside with snow on it until mid December. Told him I had a like new front fender I would drop off when started working on my car. They started working on it, didn't contact me, spent time on my old front fender, never asked for replacement, spent time working on both my doors that ended being so rusty I had to replace. There went that $5000. Dropped off another $7000. At this point my car was outside with no doors or fenders wrapped in a tarp. May I stopped to see what was going on. Said he didn't have any money left. Never called me, apparently Im supposed to read his mind. Had ordered both rear quarters and both doors. Charged me individual shipping for each part. For what would have cost me a total of $3200 including shipping he charged me $6500. Dropped off another $6000 June of 2023. Again my car sat outside all winter in a tarp with no doors or fenders ( this is 2 winters now). Started working on my car again in May of 2024. Replaced both rear quarters, did two partial floor pans, repaired a hole in trunk. Said he was out of money again. Dropped off more $. He was rude as hell and actually screamed at me cause I was complaining about cost. There was a 69 Camaro in before me and the owner was in the shop upset about the cost 2 different times that I was there. The owner kept saying "alot more rust than we thought" told me same thing. That's his MO! I have picked my car up...in pieces...no front end, no interior, fenders on 1 bolt, hood sitting on car, no rear window. There is cutoff wheel holes and slots between 1 new rear quarter and car body. My interior kick panels that were new are gouged horribly from front floor pans being put in, my NEW dual exhaust tips are gouged to hell from rear quarters being done. There is epoxy over spray all over my dash that was in perfect condition. The car is by no means straight, a ton of body work to do yet. IM $31,000 INTO THIS CAR WITH HIM!!!!!!! He has an Olds 442 there since 2022 that a guy in CT can't pick up because he owes so much money hat he wasn't aware of. This guy will NOT give you a written quote or estimate. I have spoken with 2 different individuals from the area and same story, had car couple years, keeps asking for another $5000-$10,000, car worse shape than we thought. Ends up being 60-80,000. This guy is a liar and a thief and I am standing by those accusations! There was a point after all the metal work was done I told him he had $12,000 to paint the car, he said he could do it. Called me 2 days later said couldnt do it for that. Said I should have him epoxy the bare metal and he'd take it out if the $8000 he had. I Agreed figured at most $1500. He charged me 120 hours and material to epoxy trunk rear quarters and roof. The fenders were already exoxyed in 12/22. It came to another $6700. Again, I have paid this guy $31,000 for my car to be in pieces. Crook
