I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GERARDO! Finally, the van runs! Thank you Gerardo for a very professional and suuuper thorough inspection. First time calling a mechanic over to the house and he did Not disappoint. No shortcuts here. He was also very patient and meticulous with his explanations throughout the process. My dad is disabled and has very limited mobility so, Gerardo coming inside to talk with him was very professional and Very much appreciated. Gerardo even gave us a status report for all sorts of things from the car fluids to brakes to sensors and wiring issues. Thank you so much. We will absolutely call you again for any car issues in the future.๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ™ ------- UPDATE: [Still Recommend although Not the best at addressing electrical โšก] We called a second time after the problem reappeared and the starter was replaced. However, there's no guarantee on fixing electrical issues or secondary problems caused when one electrical malfunction is repaired. At least he is honest about not wanting to touch faulty wiring issues when someone else has already done electrical work on the vehicle beforehand (esp. if it was poor work like in our case). I called GIA Automotives a few months ago to see if they could help get my stranded car started again. When I called, they picked up without identifying themselves, so I asked if this was GIA Automotives, and the guy replied, "What do you want?" Initially taken aback by the response, I proceeded to tell him the make and model of my car, and asked if he could help get it started. He told me a price, but he said he was too busy and that I should call back on Monday. When I asked him what time I should call on Monday, he said he didn't have time for this, and he hung up the phone. I just called back today to see if he might have time to work on my car. As soon as I identified my car and location, he said he remembered my car and didn't want to work on it. I told him I just needed the car started. He proceeded to say "good luck" and hung up the phone. I have never encountered someone so needlessly rude and abrasive. I can not think of one thing I had said or done to have prompted this behavior from him. It is by far one of the most disrespectful and insulting experiences that I have ever had with a service provider, and I would strongly caution against going to him for your auto services.
