I recently brought my car in to address a noise that was happening when I let off the gas. For starters, $185 just to look at it. Typical for dealerships but go to another shop that will look at it for free or a small fee. They discovered two possible issues and I agreed to have them repaired even though I was told they couldn't guarantee that was the issue. When I picked it up I was told that the noise was not entirely gone but definitely better and the car was safe to drive. Within 2 minutes of driving I could tell the noise was completely unchanged. I called and was told they didn't know where else it might be coming from and would have to continue to diagnose (for a fee). I decided to take it elsewhere and the other shop identified the problem immediately and fixed it completely. The problem was pretty obvious given the state of the part they removed (photo). If you want to make sure you car gets fixed properly take it somewhere else.

Had an issue with my Jeep Gladiator (bought from a different dealer) and I had the pleasure of working with service manager Taylor Black on the issue. During several visits Taylor made sure he saw the issue through from beginning to end until he I both were satisfied. Thanks for being a pro Taylor!

SOMEONE FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE LUG NUTS. --I took my work truck here for an oil change and tire rotation since I have bought this and many other vehicles from Fred Martin. The did the oil change and rotation like normal. Well I thought so. I pulled out and turn on the highway ramp. Hit the top of the ramp and heard and felt something really wrong. Got out and found my tire hanging on by one stud. They sent a tow truck and the wheel came off as pulling it up the truck. This was on a work truck that I lost time and money that day. No one said a word. They fixed it and then said you need tires. I said they said the tires were fine at the lube. This whole probleam could have been a real big probleam causing a life and alot of damage. They acted like no problem. Edit*** per the response from the "owner". The words sorry never once came out of his mouth. He said we will fix things. Also the small amount of 30.00 for tire rotation vs the 486.00 I lost in work that day. ***

Taylor black in the service department is the definition of great customer service and BEYOND . Taylor really pulled some strings and worked with me on every issue , I went from crying to smiling so hard ! He’s so understanding and really does what he can !

i hate that i even have to make this review but im actually not pleased with this establishment and im only a month into dealing with them. im working with trustys auto to actually get my car its not a fred martin vehicle but they are all owned within the same people SUPPOSEDLY.. communication 1/10 they dont give you updates they dont answer the phone they arent clear about certain things. they don't listen either at all i left multiple detailed voicemails stating the issues with my vehicle MULTIPLE but they somehow found a way to fix everything besides the main issue (radiator hose) which makes the car UNDRIVEABLE. they told me my car would take a couple days. its been 6 days & i am not being told tuesday my car will be ready because they are just now ordering a part i stated needed ordered from the VERY BEGINNING. i even talked to my advisor taylor on the PHONE prior to my vehicle being brung in. my vehicle was towed AND I CALLED STATING THE HOSE NEEDED REPLACED. but some how after 3-4 times of me saying it somehow some way it didn't get fixed. maybe its because im young & a women and they think im stupid i dont know. all i know is im spending unnecessary money on ubers ($35/$40) tues-sun on top of them wanting me to pay on the vehicle. ridiculous & unprofessional.

I was in Columbus for a work conference and got a nail in my tire. I was unable to get anyone to fully fix it in Columbus, but they filled it with air and me told I could make it home to Akron. I drove straight to Fred Martin Service Center, arriving around 5PM. Jim helped me right away, despite being an hour until close, getting a mechanic to assess the damage, and provide a safe fix so I could get home. Thank you much to Jim and the rest of the team for the prompt service!
