I had work done on my Nisan Rogue. I did not know what was wrong with it. They quickly got to the problem, and fixed it . The price was Very reasonable. Now, my Chevy HHR has died on me. I am having it towed to 4 Star. I know they will find the problem, and fix it right.

Charged me over $100 to diagnose my car, then quote me over $500 for a cooling fan. Plus whatever else would be wrong with my car. Asked for a detailed quote in writing & refused to give me one. Went to another auto shop in West Salem and got diagnosed for free and they fixed my car for $200. This shop is shady and will take advantage of anyone they can and overprice all services.

I thought it was great place to take my vehicle. I took my vehicle into get a window shield wiper motor, $200 PART. It ended up costing me $916. $34 for the phone call to order the part. They replaced a part without telling me first. Which cost more than the wiper motor. But they called me about a antifreeze leak. I never had to add antifreeze to it. They showed me the spot on the floor below the leak. The antifreeze was green. That's funny, my antifreeze is orange. The part they wanted to replace was $500 + labor. My coolant system was not leaking. I will not take another vehicle to them ever and will tell others to do the same.

Teresa and Joe were amazing. We got stranded in Wooster with a break down 5 hrs from home. They were able to find the part , get it delivered and installed, all in the same day! We are very grateful for their service, kindness and empathy for our situation. Service business does not get any better than this. And a fair price too! Thank you so much!

I took my 1986 Chevrolet C20 cargo van to them to have a tune up and new spark plugs put in. The mechanic who looked it over was very rude and insulting. He said all the things that were wrong with it, and said I should get rid of it and get a new one. He didn't want to work on it. And charged me $45 to just look at and no work done. I took it to another mechanic that did what I asked. And it's been running fine ever since. I would give Four Star Auto Service a one star rating and being generous with that.
