They employ many top-quality mechanics. They have an extensive inventory of parts. I've been doing business with them for over 30 years. Volkswagens are fun. It's nice to have a fun repair shop to do business with.

Honest, reliable mechanics who are good at what they do. I've been taking my vehicles to Foreign Aide for over 20 years now and have never once had a bad experience with them. Plus the business is woman-owned. Highly recommend!

Great team with friendly staff, and good communication. Todd did a superb job on fixing my broken instrument cluster, he makes sure to make the efforts and fixes problems with integrity. Definitely recommend!

I can’t thank Alex and his team enough. They saved my day and week. It was a Saturday on a long weekend. I live alone and far into the east mtns. I had a dead battery. After AAA gave me a jump, I headed into town to Pep Boys, only for them to call to say they couldn’t serve Volkswagens. I had no idea what to do so parked in a nearby parking lot and started searching. I called Foreign Aide and Alex said he may have a few mechanics coming in and would call me back. I was sitting by a park with a car running (trying to figure out what to do), when Alex called me back!! I dropped off my car and one of his amazing mechanics even drove me to my appt. I was able to pick it up within the hour (the team even replaced my key fob battery) My Uber driver back from my appt said, oh I know this place, they do great work. And they do!! Thank you again ❤️

Our 1988 Westfalia’s water pump went out while passing through Albuquerque this past Sept. AAA towed it to Foreign Aide. They went far and beyond to get it repaired. We highly recommend this shop.

Awesome to have my bug back, thanks again! Honest work for a honest price. We are fortunate to have a place like this in Albuquerque. They stock a lot of hard to find parts for old VWs.
