Foothills Import Automotive Customer Reviews

Oh, where do I even begin with this "stellar" experience? If you're looking to throw away $1350 on a job that's nowhere near completed, then look no further! This mechanic's service is a masterclass in how not to fix a car. First, they charged me a cool $1350 for what they claimed was a thorough job. Surprise, surprise—it wasn’t. When I pointed out that my car was still not fixed, they suddenly remembered it was only the "first phase" of the process. Silly me, thinking that "fixing" meant the job would be done. Then, the plot thickens. They had the audacity to tell me it would be another $1300 to actually complete the repair. Of course, this was only after changing their story from "we didn't know the compressor was messed up until we looked" to "this was only a first phase of the fixing process." Consistency and honesty clearly isn’t their strong suit. In summary, if you enjoy inconsistent stories, incomplete work, and an empty wallet, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear unless you want to become the proud owner of a car with an unnecessary repair and a wealth of frustration.

Aircon evaporator replaced in my 2016 MX-5. Work done in a timely manner at a fair price. Foothills provided courtesy rides from the shop after leaving the car with them and also picked me up when the work was completed. Note that if you are not reasonably close to the shop, I doubt they would supply such a service, which is fair.

Brought in my steering knuckle with a set of new bearings they pressed out the old ones and put it all back together for a very low price and barely any wait time my car is back on the road for the weekend thanks to these people. Outstanding work, professional business's and awesome lady working the front all-around 5 star atmosphere. Thank you foothills

HONEST. Asked to check brake pads more than once and was told i don't need them. Great job servicing my Lexus; 10 years old, no problems. They may cost more, but you get good honest service. Worth it!

I took my car over to their place for a smoke test, a few weeks ago. They were knowledgeable of the need for my car. They ran a diagnostic test. The lady that works there, knows her stuff! I appreciate the honesty, kindness and professionalism!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! You are much better off taking your car to the dealership for service. I took my car in for what appeared to be a worn out shock but it was driving fantastic otherwise. When I picked it up the car was sitting on the wheels and they tried to tell me it came in that way. Gave me a list of over $6000 in repairs and not one of them was an actual repair needed. Had to have it towed to the Volvo dealership and they fixed the damage they created, properly diagnosed the vehicle and saved me thousands. This place is criminal!

I was a loyal customer definitely see the bigger picture now. Oil leaks that needed to be fixed I question just because over the phone we had talked about the most serious oil leaks and I paid close to 10,000 for it to be done just so I can still have a oil leak. I started thinking hard about it and it came when I got a oil change and was charged 300-350 closer to the 350 range and I’m like that’s the highest I’ve ever paid for a oil change???!? Then I get a quote to get my front brakes and rotors changed and said it was gonna be $1400?? Good think one of my boys knew a guy and I saved $700. Said they was only charging I think 120 to put them on and I mean where are u getting the parts from? Are they made to last forever?? That’s the only good part of the story is basically I saved $700 from not going to them. Oh yea also when I got the car power steering was great didn’t have no problems with it till I left foothills. SMH now I have to pay someone for that as well. U go there if u want too I spent a lot of money and regret it and u will too. I think they have the ones they keep and the ones they might take advantage from. I liked them as far as in people but it’s like the whole time tryna get over on me. Anyways “Frees” automotive I had got a estimate regardless just to see for next time and see how much foothills charged me over or was it going to be the same or cheaper before I went and wrote a review. They was gonna charge me $900. $500 more than Frees that seems like they was tryna take advantage

Brought the car in for an alignment. Car pulls to right side when let go off the wheel and goes to the left if put steering wheel dead center - so steering wheel was not put dead center. Brought back to fix the issue and got charged another $38 claiming my steering rack is at fault and this is a fee to put the car up.on the rack. Don't stand behind their work. Don't recommend.
