Flat Fix J&F Tire Shop

Rip off. $15 for a plug and $20 for a patch and used tire for 40. They put the plug in with out taking tire off to check for more air leaks. You tell them check the tire for more holes, they show you a screw next to a plug. They don't take it out and test if there is an leak. They say they can put another plug close to a plug. Have to put a patch. Other tire fixe shops charge $5 to $7 for a plug and $10 for a patch. Don't go to this place. I paid $35 for a plug and patch. I practically paid for a used tire to fix my new tire. Any tire fix shop have to take off the whole tire to check for air leaks. Don't accept any work on your tires until they do and recheck for air leaks. Go in the shop and watch the work done on your tires.

Good spot. Had the same tire that was flat in stock. Swapped in ~20 minutes. Very fair price as well. Be careful not to roll over the chickens...

J&F Tire Shop is a true gem like no other. Called the facility when I was 20 minutes away with a screw in my tire and the staff told me they would fix me up immediately if I stopped by. Came to the site and one of the workers told me to turn the car in one direction so they can assess the damaged tire. Literally, without a jack or any other special equipment, they pulled the screw out, plugged the hole, trimmed the plug, sprayed soapy water and inflated the tire within 3 minutes! This was all done for 10 dollars mind you! They got me in and out in less than 5 minutes and the tire hasn't experienced any failures 20,000 miles later. I can't recommend this place enough. Going anywhere else is only doing yourself a disservice. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The price can't be beat by any means. Lastly, it is conveniently located in the South Bronx by an intersection (easy to get to from numerous routes). Definitely 10/10, will always recommend.
