First Choice Auto Repair Service Introduce

First Choice Auto Repair Service, situated at 6502 Frankford Ave in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serves the local community as a provider within the Auto Repair Stations category. This establishment offers a range of automotive services, as indicated by customer reviews, including state inspections and general repairs. While specific details about the shop's environment are not extensively provided, we can infer some characteristics based on the contrasting customer experiences.

Typically, an auto repair shop like First Choice Auto Repair Service would have a service bay area equipped with the necessary tools and diagnostic equipment to perform various automotive tasks. There would also be a customer reception area where vehicle owners can check in, discuss their service needs, and wait for their vehicles. The positive review mentioning a quick state inspection suggests an efficient and organized service process, at least for that particular service. However, the negative review detailing alleged damage to a vehicle and poor customer service indicates that the environment and operational procedures may not always result in positive outcomes for all customers.

As a member of the Auto Repair Stations category, First Choice Auto Repair Service likely offers a variety of services aimed at maintaining and repairing vehicles. Based on the customer reviews, these services include Pennsylvania state inspections, which were reportedly completed quickly and hassle-free for one customer. However, the negative review implies that they also handle more involved repair work, which, in that instance, allegedly resulted in further damage to the vehicle. This stark contrast suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality of service or the expertise applied to different types of repairs. It's important for potential customers to consider this variability when evaluating First Choice Auto Repair Service for their automotive needs.

The limited customer feedback presents a mixed view of the features of First Choice Auto Repair Service. On the positive side, the ability to perform state inspections efficiently (within approximately 30 minutes) and the willingness to match prices offered through platforms like Groupon (with the exception of sticker costs) could be considered beneficial features. The advice to call and make an appointment beforehand also suggests a potentially busy shop, indicating a possible demand for their services. However, the serious allegation of causing further damage to a customer's vehicle and the subsequent report of "very bad customer service" are significant negative features that cannot be ignored. These contrasting experiences highlight the importance of considering both positive and negative feedback when assessing the reliability and quality of service at this establishment. Potential customers may want to inquire about the shop's guarantees, technician qualifications, and customer service protocols before entrusting their vehicles to them.

One customer mentioned an offer available on Groupon but advised against purchasing it, as the shop owner would match the price in-store (with an additional cost for stickers). This indicates that First Choice Auto Repair Service may participate in promotional activities through third-party platforms. Local users are encouraged to inquire directly with the shop at (215) 745-8797 or +1 215-745-8797 about any current promotions or discounts they may be offering. It's also important to clarify the terms and conditions of any advertised offers, such as the additional cost for inspection stickers mentioned in the review.

In conclusion, First Choice Auto Repair Service at 6502 Frankford Ave in Philadelphia, PA, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, offering services such as state inspections and general auto repairs. The customer reviews provide a polarized perspective. One customer reported a quick and hassle-free state inspection experience and appreciated the price-matching policy with a Groupon offer. However, another customer reported a severely negative experience involving alleged damage to their vehicle and poor customer service. This significant discrepancy in customer experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in service quality or customer handling. Local users considering First Choice Auto Repair Service should be aware of these contrasting reports and may want to seek additional recent feedback or directly communicate with the shop to address any concerns before making a decision about their vehicle's service. The advice to call ahead for appointments indicates that the shop can be busy, suggesting a potentially high volume of customers, but the reported negative experience warrants caution and further investigation by prospective clients.

First Choice Auto Repair Service Customer Reviews

Got my PA state inspection done here this morning in about 30 mins. I must say that it was a very good and hassle free experience. Although there is an offer available on Groupon, don't purchase it, this guy will match the exact same price at the store (the stickers will cost extra $8 + tax) but make sure that you call and make an appointment beforehand, he is very busy at times!

I left my car at this place and instead of fixing it they damaged it even more. Very bad customer service. I do not recommend it.馃憥

Billy has been my mechanic for more years than I can think. I followed him to First Choice from the place where he used to work before. He鈥檚 extremely knowledgeable and a great mechanic. I have trusted him with my last four or five cars and that鈥檚 a long time. He鈥檚 more than my mechanic. I consider him a true friend

Billy was awesome! I went today for emissions and inspection and it was pretty fast! He was respectful and communicated well even when rushing back and forth trying to handle everything. I am extremely satisfied with the service thanks to GROUPON! $40 it was fast and easy. Luckily i got it taken care of the same day! He was super nice and I鈥檇 definitely go back with or without a Groupon!

The customer service is incredible. I scheduled a vehicle inspection for the same day. (I called soon after they opened). I spoke with Billy who was so kind. We actually had a great conversation when I scheduled, and while I was at the shop. When I showed up, he knew me by name. While my car was being inspected, I decided to go for a walk to to the nearby Wawa, and when I came back, my car was ready after waiting maybe 15 minutes. And I appreciate that the stickers weren't put on sloppily or incredibly crooked, like some other shops do. I saw one bad review that improperly blamed and badly rated this shop for a failed inspection, which isn't fair to the shop. So, be advised, vehicle inspections work the same throughout Pennsylvania. If your car fails, it's not the shop's fault. You WON'T get both stickers if it fails, but if you get the issue repaired then you get both. That is how inspections work. Just like another reviewer suggested, be sure to call ahead to make sure they'll have time in their schedule to fit you in. My visit was within the last few days of the month, which is often when inspection times get cramped, but they still fit me in. Just know, it's not guaranteed that a time would be available. Also, as the other review stated, if you're looking into buying the Groupon, don't. Just call and ask if he can extend the Groupon rate to you. Groupon takes a big chunk of sellers' money, so it would really benefit First Choice if they can keep more of the money. Support small business. Especially ones that take care of their customers like they do.
