Firestone Complete Auto Care Customer Reviews

On 19 April 2025, I brought a vehicle in for a simple oil change—an appointment that, under normal circumstances, should take no more than 30 to 45 minutes. However, I was made to wait almost three hours without any clear communication, explanation, or apology from your staff. The car didn’t get pulled into the Firestone garage until 45 minutes after the 10:00 am appointment. To make matters worse, the overall demeanor of the employees during my visit was highly unprofessional. There was a clear lack of organization and urgency, and I observed staff members standing around or engaging in personal conversations while customers waited. At no point was I updated on the status of my vehicle unless I asked—only to be given vague or dismissive answers. At a minimum, I expect to be treated with respect and given accurate information about wait times. What I received was the exact opposite. After, almost 3 hours the oil change on the car was complete. Furthermore, on the digital receipt I received via email, it states that a tire rotation was performed, “it was not”. This experience was not only inconvenient but also reflects poorly on the Firestone brand. As a customer who values timely and professional service, this incident has left me questioning whether I can trust Firestone with future vehicle maintenance. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issues at this location, both in terms of customer communication and employee conduct. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding how this matter will be handled. Sincerely, J.G.

I brought my vehicle in due to the check engine light being on along with light smoke under hood. I was told over the phone that they had identified the problem and I approved the repairs that were recommended. I was contacted two days later assuming it was to tell me my vehicle was ready for pick up and instead was told they found a leak in my head gasket, which Firestone would be unable to repair due to them not having a mechanic currently on staff qualified to replace the gasket. I was charged $670.39 ($530.18 of that for labor!) for highly questionable repairs only to have my vehicle towed to my dealership for repair. One such highly questionable repair is the replacement of a 168 Mini Lamp that cost $3.49, and I was charged $60.00 to “remove and replace the bulb.” This will be my last time using Firestone. I feel I was misled and recommended and overcharged for unnecessary repairs. I was a loyal customer, but loyalty works both ways and I can no longer trust Firestone.

I turned in my car for a diagnostics with a 9am appointment. My car was not ready until 6:20pm. When I called the day after, they said they would send the receipt and report to my email. I still have not received a receipt or a diagnosis report of what is actually wrong with my vehicle. When I called again, the employee said he would get to it when he could without a definite timeline. I understand that sometimes there are times when the mechanics are backed up, but there should not be a point when a 9am appointment for a diagnostics takes over 9 hours. I am extremely unsatisfied and will not return to this location in the future.

I am a first-time mom and I am also a first time buyer for a car. The customer service was incredible. I absolutely love the fact customer service is top-tier ! While waiting in the lobby and dealing with a crybaby nonstop, the staff were really understanding. I was so embarrassed, but I felt safe that I wasn’t being judged because my baby was crying , i’m not sure who the guy was that I was taking care of my car the whole time but he is excellent I truly appreciate him very much and getting my car done seriously recommend this auto shop.

Absolutely terrible experience. Waited over 4 hours for an inspection on my car. My car is only a few years old and they failed my inspection over a gas cap. The car had no check engine light or anything wrong with the gas cap. Told me if I bought a gas cap they wouldn’t fail it so I paid for a gas cap. Also was told I need an oil change when I just had an oil change 2 days prior from another mechanic shop. Avoid unless you want ripped off and want to wait crazy long for a wait.
