Firestone Complete Auto Care Introduce

Firestone Complete Auto Care, situated at 4015 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213, operates as a comprehensive Auto Repair Station providing a wide array of services and goods to local users. This establishment is a part of the larger Firestone network, known for its extensive presence in the automotive service industry. They can be reached via phone at (614) 441-9179 or mobile at +1 614-441-9179, making it accessible for inquiries and appointments. Firestone Complete Auto Care aims to be a one-stop shop for various vehicle maintenance and repair needs, serving the Columbus community.

The environment at Firestone Complete Auto Care is designed to accommodate a high volume of automotive service, typical of a national chain. Customers can expect a waiting area, usually equipped with seating, and potentially amenities such as Wi-Fi or television, though specific details for this location are not provided. The service bays are professional and functional, equipped with the necessary tools and technology for a broad range of repairs and maintenance. The overall atmosphere strives for efficiency, given the volume of cars they handle. However, customer experiences regarding the environment and staff interaction can vary, as indicated by the provided reviews. While one customer praises the honesty and dependability of the staff, another points to a lack of "special customer service" and a "very little good customer service attitude" in certain interactions. This suggests that while the physical environment is standardized, the personal touch and responsiveness from individual staff members might fluctuate. A well-lit and clean service area is generally a standard for Firestone locations, ensuring a professional setting for vehicle work.

Firestone Complete Auto Care provides an extensive suite of services and goods for sale, truly living up to its "Complete Auto Care" moniker. Their primary offerings include comprehensive tire services, such as tire sales (new tires from various brands, including Firestone, Bridgestone, and others), tire installation, balancing, rotation, and repair (including puncture repairs like the one mentioned in the review). Beyond tires, they offer a full range of mechanical services. This includes routine maintenance like oil changes, fluid checks and flushes, and filter replacements (air, oil, fuel, cabin). They perform detailed brake services, encompassing inspections, pad and rotor replacements, and hydraulic system repairs. Engine diagnostics are a core service, where technicians use advanced tools to identify and address issues related to engine performance, check engine lights, and emissions. They also handle battery testing and replacement, steering and suspension repairs, wheel alignments, heating and air conditioning system services, and general vehicle inspections. For goods, they sell a variety of automotive parts, including batteries, brake components, filters, and other necessary replacement items for repairs. Their aim is to address virtually any common automotive issue that a vehicle owner might encounter, from a simple tire fix to complex engine diagnostics.

The distinguishing features of Firestone Complete Auto Care, as gleaned from the customer feedback, present a mixed but insightful picture. A significant positive feature is their demonstrated honesty and dependability. One customer's experience highlights this exceptionally well: the shop's willingness to find a much more affordable solution ($128) instead of proceeding with a more expensive initial diagnosis ($1200) for a vehicle issue. This level of integrity, going "way beyond honest," is a powerful differentiator and instills considerable trust in their clientele. This indicates a commitment to customer benefit over maximizing profit, earning them "well deserved cookies" and strong loyalty. However, another feature, as pointed out by a different customer, is the inconsistency in customer service attitude. The experience of a "first person in contact was indifferent, no special customer service" and a "very little good customer service attitude" at checkout, despite an apology for a long wait, points to an area where the customer experience can vary. While the technical work might be sound (as implied by the successful tire repair), the human interaction element can sometimes fall short, leading to a negative perception for some customers despite the shop's technical capabilities. Therefore, while honesty in diagnostics and repair is a strong suit, the interpersonal aspect of customer service is an area of varied performance.

Regarding promotional information, Firestone Complete Auto Care, as a national brand, typically engages in a variety of ongoing promotions and offers. While no specific current promotions are detailed in the reviews, customers can generally expect to find deals on common services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and alignment packages. They often offer rebates on tire purchases, especially from Firestone and Bridgestone brands, and seasonal maintenance specials (e.g., winter readiness checks, summer travel packages). Customers can typically find these promotions on their official website, through email newsletters, or via in-store signage. Firestone also provides credit card options that may offer special financing on larger repairs or tire purchases. The positive review about saving money due to their honesty indirectly serves as a powerful form of promotion, as it highlights the potential for unexpected cost savings and builds a strong reputation for trustworthiness. Conversely, the negative review, while not a promotion, serves as a cautionary note for potential customers regarding the variability of the customer service experience. Overall, Firestone Complete Auto Care leverages its brand recognition, comprehensive service offerings, and occasional promotional pricing to attract and retain customers in the Columbus area.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Customer Reviews

My son had some vehicle issues, took it to this shop and they absolutely nailed it! Originally it was going to need $1200 in work but after they looked at it they tried a different route that ended up costing $128..saved us so much money when they could have simply done the original work but they were way beyond honest and did right by us so much so that they earned a reward and I had to send them some well deserved cookies. Thank you all so much for being dependable and honest.

First time visit. I came to have removed a screw from my tire. Arrived at 8 am did not get my car until 12:30. First person in contact was indifferent, no special customer service. At the end when I pointed out to the person checking me out of the time lapse, since she came onto the location much later, she was apologetic but still with very little good customer service attitude. I will not return.

The staff at Firestone was very friendly and transparent. My car was inspected in a timely manner, updates were given via email about my car and repair was offered at the same time. All around service was great!

I got my car towed here after I ran over a large item. They told me all they needed to do to diagnose the problem was to run a diagnostic and do a "tune up" and my car would start again. They charged me over $1k to do the diagnostic and do what I now know are very light fixes on the car. The same evening I was told that the "tune up" would fix my car I received a call saying that the car still won't start and it smells like there is paint thinner in my tank. We went in the next evening to look at the car and smell what was in the tank.We went in the manager, who knew when we were arriving, was not there and we were shown these issues by a young male technician. The first thing the young male did was ask if we had any angry exes in town and said that he thinks somebody put paint thinner into the tank, we asked if he knew what diesel smelled like and he didn't. I took it to a new shop because they refused to work with the car. The only issue with the car was a broken fuel pump. Which was only an $800 fix at the new place. If they would have just looked at the car instead of wanting to do the easy work they would have figured that out. Do not go to this shop they will rip you off and trick you into believing that the only work that needs done is the light stuff and the technicians do not know what they are talking about.

I have always had good experiences with Firestone across the country. This location was no exception. Service tech Vanessa and the entire crew was spot on after AAA towed my car in.
