F & C TIRE SHOP Introduce

For drivers in Brooklyn, New York, seeking tire services, F & C TIRE SHOP presents itself as an auto repair station specializing in tire-related needs. With two potentially linked addresses mentioned, 22 Avenue O and 1505 Neptune Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11204, USA, this establishment aims to provide solutions for common tire issues. However, based on available customer feedback, the experience at F & C TIRE SHOP appears to be notably mixed, with both significant concerns and an indication of basic services being offered.

The environment at F & C TIRE SHOP, as described by customers, can be challenging. While the intent might be to provide quick service, issues with staff attitude and professionalism have been reported. One customer described the staff as "rude and dismissive," leading to an unwelcome feeling. This suggests an environment that, at times, lacks the customer-centric approach that many vehicle owners seek when entrusting their cars for service. Furthermore, extended waiting times have been noted, implying that despite the aim for quick service, operational efficiency can vary.

The core services offered by F & C TIRE SHOP primarily involve tire changes and repairs. This includes basic services such as replacing a damaged tire with a new or used one, and performing repairs like tire patching or inserting a tire plug for punctures. These are fundamental services for any tire shop and are essential for maintaining vehicle safety and performance.

When examining the features of F & C TIRE SHOP, several points emerge from customer experiences. On the positive side, the shop does offer fundamental tire services, and in some instances, a service might be completed. However, critical feedback highlights significant concerns regarding the shop's operational features:

  • Inconsistent Pricing and Transparency: A major point of contention for customers is the apparent lack of clear and consistent pricing. One reviewer detailed an argument over the price of a tire patch, where the initial quote was $25, then changed to $45 for a patch after a plug was initially inserted, and eventually reverted to $25 after considerable back-and-forth. This suggests a negotiation-based pricing model rather than transparent, fixed rates, which can lead to customer frustration and a feeling of being misled. The customer also noted a visible sign stating a $20 patch price for certain tire sizes, further indicating potential inconsistencies in what customers are charged versus advertised rates.

  • Quality of Work and Potential for Damage: A concerning feature reported by a customer is the damage to a tire pressure sensor during a tire change, which subsequently cost at least $100 to repair. This highlights a potential issue with the care taken during service, leading to additional, unexpected expenses for the customer.

  • Staff Professionalism and Communication: As mentioned, reviews indicate instances of staff being "rude and dismissive" and engaging in "arguing back and forth" with customers. This significantly detracts from the customer experience and can lead to dissatisfaction.

  • Repair Method Discrepancies: The incident where a plug was used instead of a patch, despite an agreement for a patch, indicates a potential disregard for customer preferences or a lack of clarity in service execution. While plugs can be a quick fix, patches are generally considered a more durable repair for certain types of punctures, and the unsolicited substitution without clear communication or justification is problematic.

No specific promotional information, beyond the mentioned price negotiations, is available. The reviews strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution.

For inquiries, F & C TIRE SHOP can be contacted at (718) 513-3936 or via mobile at +1 718-513-3936. Operational hours are not provided in the available information, so it would be advisable for prospective customers to call ahead to confirm their current hours of operation and discuss pricing for specific services before visiting.

In summary, F & C TIRE SHOP in Brooklyn aims to provide tire services such as changes and repairs. However, potential customers should be aware of the significant concerns raised by reviews regarding staff professionalism, transparency in pricing, and the quality of work, including potential damage to vehicle components. It is recommended to approach this establishment with caution, clarify all service details and pricing upfront, and be prepared for potential discrepancies.

F & C TIRE SHOP Customer Reviews

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the tire shop recently. From the moment I walked in, the attitude of the staff was off-putting; they were rude and dismissive, making me feel unwelcome. After what felt like an eternity waiting for them to change my tire, I discovered that they had damaged the pressure sensor in the process. This was not just an inconvenience—it ended up costing me at least $100 to replace. Overall, it was a disappointing visit that left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Came here because of the nail in my tire. I came in to the shop and no one was there. I waited 5 mins a young fellow came in to assist me. I told him I need a patch and I asked for a price, he said $25. I asked him if he could do it for $20 he said no problem. Instead of patching the tire he put the plug in. I immediately told him the do the patch instead of a plug and he said he will charge me $45. I told him that we agreed on the patch initially, but he said that if you want cheaper here you go. After arguing back and forth he said ok for $25 i’ll do the patch. I wanted to give him $5 difference plus $3 as a tip. I understand how hard these guys work. While he was doing my tire, I noticed that there a sign with prices and it clearly states 18” 17” 16” tire patch is $20. At the end I paid $20 plus tax. Look, I don’t care about $5. I would honestly tip much more if you give me the service and without lies and scams. These shops have bad reputations because of scams, hopefully it will change some day. My suggestion stay away from this place go to a decent place with good reviews

Came because of good google review. But it’s false. The sign said $20 for flat but he said $30…? That should be my sign to leave. But I just thought whatever. Total came out to 130. He told me $150??? I told him to charge credit card… he said he need to charge tax… it’s fine but the tax is 15% when did nyc tax became 15%?? Dishonest shop. Never going back… stay away

My man Jesus was very patient with me and very helpful. I couldn’t decide which rims I wanted. He damn near took every rim off the rack for me and put it onto the car so I can get an idea of how they would look. I walked away a satisfied customer. 👍🏾 Thanks Family. Would recommend to anyone! I went to multiple tire shops and overcharged me 300 for a change except here! Got for better cheaper price! The service is phenomenal as well, I got great advice towards my tires and the location as well. Across the street from a car wash that always leaves my car shiny. Definitely going back for my front tires soon. SHOUTOUT TO THE HISPANIC WITH LONG HAIR!
