We rented a Penske truck to pickup at EZ Wheeler in Lima, Ohio. The website scheduled pickup for us at 1pm. We got there and the entire building was locked and empty of everyone and we had no way to get our rentals. We called Penske and they told us that EZ Wheeler closes at 1, we explained we didn’t get an option for a pickup time so this is not our fault. We ended up having to drive 3 hours away to two separate locations to pick up both rentals (a box truck and a car dolly) because we needed our rentals that day. This wouldn’t have happened if their website had not scheduled our pickup time during their closed hours, they need to stay on top of updating their websites; It’s very sketchy looking when you show up to your appointment time scheduled by them and it’s a ghost town. I hope to never have to use this company again due to having an appointment made and never even contacting us when they got it to let us know that we’d have to come earlier or wouldn’t actually be able to collect the rentals the day THEY scheduled us. Penske themselves atleast offered to help but EZ Wheeler ghosted us. There’s zero accountability from EZ wheeler at all during all of this.

I purchased a set of LED lights for my vehicle. The company was unable to sync the undercarriage lights with the wheel well lights. They replaced the lights in attempt to rectify the problem. After replacing the lights, they left wires hanging underneath my vehicle and were unable to get the lights in sync. The company then started to ignore my calls. I tried to resolve this issue through the Better Business Bureau, but they ignored the Bureau’s attempts to contact them. I then filed a civil lawsuit against them which I won. Now they refuse to pay the judgment. I don’t know if race is an issue here, but I am a military veteran who is retired, disabled and African American. I do know that EZ Wheeler’s Lima location refuses to resolve the problem, or pay the civil judgment ordered by Lima Municipal Court. Beware of this company. If they would treat me so callous and disrespectful after paying them over $650.00 up front, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to trust or deal with this company. Has very good customer service, works efficiently to get things done. Everyone that comes in always walks out satisfied. Good prices and has a hard worker. I’ve seen them go above and beyond to help out customers that want something done to their truck or bike. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there.

Made an appointment to have a latch replaced on my truck cap on 2/23/23. I had made the appointment the week before the date. I get there for the appointment and they don't have the parts. Didn't receive a phone call about possibly rescheduling the appointment at all. My recommendation would be don't have any work done by EZ Wheeler
