I am usually very hesitant to bring my car to the mechanic because I am overly detail oriented and from past experience I always notice something is off or something else is broken when I get my car back. HOWEVER, Ryan is different because he is overly detailed like I am. So rest assured when you get your car back, it is fixed properly, most importantly fixed as per BMW spec. This kind of service is a unicorn in today's world where pretty much everywhere else, customers are just seen as banks to milk as fast as possible. Good to know Ryan treats your car like it is his car so I highly recommend Ryan and his team if you have a BMW.

I’ve had the pleasure working with Ryan at E39 source on both my E39 M5 and E46 M3. His craftsmanship is next to none! He is the best in the business. He will take care of your car like his own and that is priceless. His ability to rejuvenate your car is like a time machine going back in time. I could’ve easily taken my car to my local BMW dealer, which is less than five minutes away, but I’d rather ship my car to him any day of the week as I know he will get it done right the first time with great attention to detail. There is a reason why E39Source has 5 stars. I have known mechanics that are true guru's (James at The Truck Shop in Miramar if you have a Toyota / Lexus) and Ryan is just that for E39s and BMWs in general. I just bought an E39M5 that was serviced by his team the last 3 years. Ryan has been beyond patient walking me through everything that has been done and will need to be done with a level of calmness, knowledge and passion (he has a M5 as well you know). Other shops will rush you or be short or pick up the phone; Ryan gives you his full attention every time and I very much appreciate that level of service. I can't think of a better owner/mechanic and team to have work on your BMW, they truly care and know what is best and what items you can put off wait on. I won't hesitate to take mine to him when it comes due for service. Keep up the passion Ryan and team!

I don't have an E39 yet but I am in the market as I have wanted one for over 20 years and am now in position to do so. As I don't "know" the in's and out's of E39's and having watched Ryan's videos, I took "a shot" and reached out on email to Ryan for some advice. Ryan's response was to call me directly (based on an email from a complete stranger) and spend 30 min of his time with a not-yet-customer talking through the whole E39 bit. This is a amazing time investment for a small business owner whose shop is in high demand and who is growing. He advised on what to look for, what will likely need to be done, rough costs, etc, etc. Most impressively, after introductions, Ryan focused on asking about what I wanted in a car and its use. He is a genuine enthusiast in addition to a service provider. It is so rare to see this in today's world. Upon getting my future E39 M5, I will certainly be taking it to Ryan and team for refreshing (and I live in Jacksonville, FL). Ryan, again, thank you for your time and counsel!!

Everything you said so eloquently on your website is accurate, post E39 Source impeccable workmanship my M6 has redefined fun. The entire vehicle feels tight, handling is simply amazing, 6 speed is unbelievably smooth making me smile each time I shift. Quality workmanship is what your known for and you did not disappoint. After watching hours of Ryan’s helpful videos on YouTube, I realized that his shop was actually in Southern California only about an hour and a half from me. Because of the similarities between the E39 and E38 platform’s, I knew when the time came to do a refresh on my car, this would be the spot to take it. I first had them do an MPI to get a baseline of where my car stood and then getting my desired scope of work in the pipeline. I had them do a complete sport suspension refresh on my E38 Sporty Shortys aging original components along with a bunch of other preventative maintenance. The attention to detail for service work along with the communication and photos provided of the old components during the installation was a welcome change from other shops I have dealt with in the past. Look forward to future visits.
