Done Right Engine & Machine

Don't go here...the guy's a crook, I payed him $1500 to rebuild a Kohler engine for my tractor, I didn't get one full season out of the engine when it blew just before Memorial day, the crook then tells me that it was all my fault and if I want it fixed it'll be another $1500 to rebuild an engine that he SWORE was going to be perfect the first time around! He flat out lied to me about what kind of oil he told me to use, and accepted ZERO responsibility for the problem, seriously...avoid DoneWRONG at all costs, the old man is a thief and a LIAR!

I would absolutely not use this place for any type of work.. I got robbed for $950 dollars at this place by the old man that owns the place... First off I came to Him with a block that was freshly machined & completely torn down.. clean ready to be assembled.. I asked him to put it together for me.. I let him Talk me into buying a set of new CUSTOM pistons for 350.00 since he said he won't touch it unless I did.. OK if that's what it's going to take to get my engine put together professionally so be it.. The total bill came to be 990.00 He tells me that it will take around two months for him to get the job done. I give him $700 dollars.. he gives me receipt stating I owe him 290.. @ the end of the two months I come looking for my motor.. he tells me there was a problem at the place where they were making the CUSTOM pistons & the had to start over!, long story it took him 6months to get my pistons in after numerous visits just to see that he has not done anything to my motor.. he calls me 12/15/16 a week before Xmas almost eleven months later & tells me that my engine is done I'm like Great! now this is where it gets good.. He goes on to tell me that if I want it is need to bring him 2,400 Dollars! Yes I wrote it correctly $2,400 Dollars! I'm like What Are you Crazy! I owe you $290.. He ends up hanging up on me.. calls me back 5min later & says bring me $1400, I'm like no way my bill is this hi I still have my receipt! I'll be there in the morning.. he calls me back early the next a.m. Before I could leave the & says bring me $700 I'm thinking to myself this guy is nuts. I drive the 30min to his shop... I refuse to pay the extra money so he tore down the engine back the way I brought it to him told me I owed him $250 I even wanted my property back.. The Custom Pistons & rings are nothing but a piston & ring set off of e Bay that cost 89 dollars.. I payed 950 for them thanks to Done right Engines & his Crooked ways... save your money & the heart aches go elsewhere...
