Ken was one of two of our guardian angels on 7/12/24. Our family was on our way from Indiana to South Carolina for vacation. We were hauling our camper with our F350 Super Duty dually. Around 2am our truck alerted us that the trailer plug was loose. Upon stopping, we saw that our hitch was moments from detaching due to rust. The entire frame was bent down and almost busted. We were fortunate enough to be assisted by a 24hr local Mechanic, Ken, who towed our camper to a safe property for the night. We got up at 7am and spent an hour and a half calling around trying to find a heavy duty reese hitch. Upon call after call of "not in stock" and "won't be until Monday-Tuesday" we were losing hope. We were stranded in a different state, and were due to check in at our vacation spot at 2pm. Finally, a local shop told us to call Larry Montgomery because there was a "50/50 shot he would have what we need with what he keeps around." Bless that man, and bless Larry for having the hitch we needed! Ken went above and beyond yet again by offering to help us drop our old hitch and throw the new one on so we could get back on the road. Oftentimes we lose faith in humanity doing the daily grind, but times like these remind you there are still some absolutely amazing people out there. Thank you, Ken. You saved our trip and our trailer 🙏

Get the price first! My cargo van fleet driver turned down the wrong road. Almost made it to the cross street, 40' shy. Vans get stuck on wet potato chips in good weather so he wasn't even off the road, but needed to be winched 40' to the cross Rd. Sour run and Fremont corner. $1501!!!!! These tow trucks are unregulated so you really have to be careful out there. Poor business practice? yes, but not a dumb move. Driver didn't ask first, so it's whatever they can get away with. He gave a his story with a 5 am start time and provided pics well after the sun was up with the winch hooked on. and I sent a picture of a Chevy spark passing by on the cross Rd 40 ft up that the driver sent me, no response. Lol. If paying out of pocket, be careful. Get the price first. You owe them nothing until they make contact with your vehicle, even if they drive out there. Get the price quote first!!!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with DMK Truck & Trailer Repair. Yesterday my truck broke down due to a coolant leak in the radiator. I called them at 4:00 PM for roadside assistance, and they assured me they would help. However, they told me they couldn't get the parts that day because the Freightliner dealership closed at 5:00 PM. I was left stranded on the side of the road, having to spend the night there. They promised to return in the morning with the necessary parts around 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM, but that didn't happen. I called them five times, and each time I was told they would call me back in 10 minutes. Spoiler alert: they never did. I waited over 15 hours with no communication, no updates, and no help. In the end, I had to call a towing company myself to get my truck to the Freightliner dealership. This company is unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend them to anyone needing urgent service!

I experienced a wheel hub failure for the first time in all the years I've been transporting. Out on US35 West, 8 miles from Jackson. No one merges over, and there was a lost orange triangle that day. But DMK Truck and Repair came out, guided me to a safer location, and began work on diagnosing and repairing all the damage from that failed wheel hub caused to my client's tri-axle boat trailer. Thorough, professional, courtious is only some of the words to describe my experience with DMK. Thank you for your devotion to customer satisfaction and experience!

Ken is a true professional truck mechanic, he stayed in contact with me thru the entire process of replacing wheel studs in my skid loader trailer and being 900 miles from home he went the extra mile to get me going.....so if anyone reads this review and your broke down in southern Ohio please call Ken.
