Crash Champions Collision Repair Lansdale Customer Reviews

UPDATED 2/18 - I figured I'd give one final review as a warning to anyone considering this establishment for their body shop needs. I once again implore you to avoid this shop at all costs. There has been absolutely no effort from their corporate offices or the location manager directly involved to offer any sort of compensation or even an apology. I directly emailed the manager, Sean, about a month or so ago expressing my disappointment in how all of the *serious* issues I had were handled only to be ignored. Thankfully I found help at another local shop, but if it weren't for that, my car would still be leaking water due to a door that was installed improperly (which I am told should have been a simple repair.) If you'd like to be gaslit & taken advantage of, Crash Champions is your spot! UPDATED 12/17 - Moisture has been getting in my vehicle due to the door being misaligned, as confirmed by another trustworthy shop. This is causing my windshield to fog up so badly that I can barely drive it, in addition to slowly ruining the interior of my vehicle. This issue was brought up to the manager, Sean, of crash champions who blatantly brushed off my concerns. I am in the process of pursuing legal action. TL;DR - Shop replaced my driver's-side back door. Upon pickup there were NUMEROUS concerns which I pointed out immediately to the manager upon inspection. Mind you, I have zero experience/knowledge when it comes to body work & these mistakes were so obvious to the untrained-eye that they should have absolutely been caught/corrected by any establishment that calls itself a body shop. After months & having to return to this shop FOUR SEPARATE TIMES - missing work each time - with no resolution, I elected to go to another small business shop & pay out-of-pocket (instead of go through the other persons insurance that recommended this establishment) to have the mistakes corrected. Low & behold, this other shop was able to diagnose & correct these mistakes in ONE DAY. Longer version - Upon pickup I noticed immediately that the outer trim around my window was misaligned, with metal very obviously sticking out where the plastic of the trim was meant to cover. Plastic on the inside of my door was unable to clip-in properly due to this outer misalignment & was just hanging there. Additionally, the entire interior panel of my door was able to easily be pulled away from the frame by about 4 inches. This is the state in which the shop tried to return my vehicle to me, as well as an interior covered in white dust (I have an all-black interior & now parts of it are stained by this dust). They agreed to order new trim for my car saying the reason it did not fit properly was because they reused the old trim from my old door. Okay. WEEKS went by with no word after that, & when I called to check on a time-frame for these parts I was told by the manager, Sean, that the parts were on backorder. I decided to call Honda directly & inquire about the parts, with part numbers in hand, & was informed that the parts were in fact NOT backordered & had plentiful stock. Hilariously enough after bringing this fact up to Sean the very same day, he was able to give me a specific date when they'd arrive (a few days later if I remember correctly.) The outer trim & inside panel were corrected to a satisfactory state, however, the inside trim that was simply hanging there was still unable to be clipped in. After having to return a grand total of FOUR TIMES, missing work each time & them simply reordering the same exact part each time, it was still unable to be clipped in. After asking them to troubleshoot what else could be causing this issue, I was simply told that all they could do was keep ordering this part & trying to make it fit. I was fed up at this point so decided to get a second opinion at another shop, & within 10 MINUTES they were able to tell that the door itself had a defect that was causing the handle to not line up properly & therefore cause this inner piece to be misaligned & unable to be clipped in.

There is a review a few weeks back posted by CS that has explained my exact experience with this shop. Six months ago I was advised to go to this shop by my insurance company after an accident. I disclosed to them that there was damage done to my radiator due to the amount of fluid at the scene. The work was done quickly and Lauren communicated every step of the way. When I picked my car up the check engine light came on shortly after driving and my engine started to make a loud sound. I immediately took it back to the shop where they checked it out and came back and said “there was nothing wrong it, try driving it around and see if it goes away. Or I can take it to another shop they contract with.” That would be silly of me to continue with them. I took it elsewhere where they informed me that my radiator was indeed damaged, as well as, my bumper wasn’t properly installed and I was missing my bumper absorber. When I tried to call the shop the unprofessionalism and ignorance I received from the receptionist Amelia every time was astoundingly. She truly made this experience unbearable. As for the manager Sean, he wouldn’t take or return any of my calls and continued to point fingers at the other shop. I went through six months of a run around with this company trying to get my car properly handled. Thankfully I had pictures and invoices still saved and a fantastic insurance broker who would not let up on this. Six months and several headaches later they finally replaced the missing part and fixed my bumper. Which also still doesn’t look right. Nobody should have to fight this hard over an issue this shop created. Lauren was the only professional and kind employee at this establishment and is the only reason this place will get a star. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

Crash Collisions was an approved repair shop through my insurance. They did a phenomenal job repairing my car when it was hit 2 separate times. I now use them for repairs, touch ups, aesthetics, on my car that I just want done, even out of pocket and again, amazing job. They go above and beyond from beginning to end and were beyond courteous.

Crash Champions made a bad situation almost pleasant. Courteous, friendly and professional. My car was sideswiped while parked. Lauren from Crash Champions made the necessary calls to work with my insurance company and had a rental car pick me up. My car was completed close to 2 weeks earlier than the original estimate. I’d recommend Crash Champions to family, friends and coworkers. Thanks Bob Dugan

It was a very nice experience. I am an elderly woman, and they just put me at ease. They kept me appraised daily of what was going on with my Repair. I would definitely recommend this shop. The employees I encountered were friendly and answered all my questions.

Lesson learned. People do not care about other people's problem seriously. Inspect your car at least 30 minutes before taking it back. Do not trust people. 1. Somebody hit my car and Geico sent me to this repair. 2. May 30th 4:48pm (they close at 5pm) My car was ready so I picked my car up. I didn't have enough time to inspect since I didn't want to hold them up. I trusted them and I do not know much about cars. * Which was a big mistake. 3. May 30th 4:57pm I got home and my husband found multiple issues. Chips and scratches on the side mirror, paint defect, 2 seal issues and poorly installed wheel cover. I am attaching all the photos which are taken between 4:57pm~5:41pm the same day. 4. I called the repair right before they are closed. I talked to the office lady about the issues. 5. June 1st or the 2nd I went to the repair again and a mechanic checked all the issues. 6. Waited the parts to come. 7. July 5th 9:30am Visited again to drop my car. I am told that they are going to fix one seal and the front wheel cover only. 8. I asked them to fix the side mirror, another seal and the paint also. But the manager (or whoever wears a black uniform) said I chipped the side mirror with my nail. Not sure if it is even possible. 9. Their QC photo is not close enough to show small details. 10. I asked the manager if he could go to my car to check again. He denied and yelled at me to leave his office. I denied. Insurance payed around $7000 to fix my car. I have right to get my car fixed. 11. Manager left to talk to Geico. 12. A mechanic came to me and he promised he would take care of all the issues. Thank you. 13. July 6th 8:00am I picked my car up. 14. Front wheel cover still doesn't fit perfectly but a mechanic explained that all the parts are OEM so it won't be perfect. I am leaving couple starts for the mechanic who took responsibility in the end and the friendly office lady. Mistakes can be made but it is your responsibility make it right. Do not push your mistakes to a customer.
