Complete Auto Service Introduce

Located at 36300 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, USA, Complete Auto Service operates as an "Auto Repair Station" within the local community. This category typically signifies an establishment that not only offers various automotive services but also provides corresponding goods for sale, such as replacement parts. You can reach Complete Auto Service by phone at (313) 288-6704 or via mobile at +1 313-288-6704.

As an "Auto Repair Station," Complete Auto Service would generally be expected to handle a range of vehicle issues, from routine maintenance to more complex repairs. Their categorization implies they have the capability to diagnose problems, perform mechanical work, and supply the necessary parts to get a vehicle back in working order. This broad scope is characteristic of businesses operating under this platform category, aiming to serve as a comprehensive solution for automotive needs.

Environment and Facilities

Based on the standard operations of an "Auto Repair Station," one would anticipate a facility equipped to handle various vehicle types and repairs. This typically includes multiple service bays, vehicle lifts, and diagnostic equipment. An area for customer waiting, potentially with a reception desk, would also be a standard feature. For a general auto repair shop, organization and cleanliness are often indicators of professionalism, although specific details regarding the physical environment of Complete Auto Service's Livonia location are not publicly available in detail. The mention of a "lobby" in one of the reviews suggests a designated area for customers to wait while their vehicles are being serviced.

Services Offered

While a detailed list of every specific service offered by Complete Auto Service is not provided, the nature of an "Auto Repair Station" suggests a wide array of general automotive repair and maintenance services. These typically include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnostic Services: Identifying the root cause of vehicle problems through various testing methods.
  • Brake Services: Repair and replacement of brake components, including pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines.
  • Engine Repair and Maintenance: Addressing issues related to the engine, including tune-ups, oil changes, fluid checks, and more complex repairs.
  • Suspension and Steering: Repairs and maintenance for components affecting vehicle handling and ride comfort.
  • Tire Services: Potentially including tire rotations, balancing, and replacement.
  • Fluid Services: Changing and topping off various automotive fluids.

The negative review explicitly mentions a "brake line" being an issue, which indicates that brake system repairs are indeed a service they perform or attempt to perform. The general context of an "Auto Repair Station" implies they cater to a broad spectrum of common vehicle issues.

Features and Customer Perceptions

Based on the provided customer reviews, several key features and perceptions emerge regarding Complete Auto Service:

  • Customer Service Variability: There appears to be a significant inconsistency in customer service experiences. One review positively highlights an interaction with "Jamaal, the gas station attendant," indicating a pleasant experience in the lobby. Conversely, another interaction with "Mike" is described as dishonest, leading to a very negative perception. This suggests that the quality of customer interaction can vary greatly depending on the individual staff member.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Accuracy Concerns: A major point of contention in one review is the allegation that the establishment "can’t even remember what they diagnose your problem" and "constantly try to find other stuff." This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and transparency of their diagnostic process.
  • Accusations of Damage During Service: A very serious accusation is made that the shop "broke his brake line and was going to let him pull off," implying negligence and a lack of accountability. This claim, if true, represents a significant breach of trust and safety.
  • Receipt and Documentation Issues: The inability to "print out a receipt" for services rendered and having to wait for someone who was not present to provide documentation is a procedural issue that can lead to distrust and frustration for customers.
  • Accountability and Resolution: The reviews suggest a perceived lack of willingness to rectify issues or offer solutions when problems arise, as indicated by "Did not offer to fix what they broke" and the need for legal intervention.

These reviews paint a picture of a business where customer trust and satisfaction are significantly challenged by allegations of dishonesty, poor service quality, and a lack of accountability for damages incurred during service. The term "crooked as can be" and the assignment of "a negative star" are strong indicators of severe dissatisfaction.

Promotional Information

Given the negative customer feedback, specific promotional strategies for Complete Auto Service are not discernible from the provided information. However, for any "Auto Repair Station" aiming to attract and retain customers, typical promotional efforts would focus on building trust and showcasing reliability. These might include:

  • Transparent Pricing: Clear and upfront pricing for services and parts.
  • Service Guarantees: Warranties on parts and labor to instill customer confidence.
  • Certified Technicians: Highlighting the qualifications and experience of their mechanics.
  • Positive Customer Testimonials: Showcasing satisfied customers and their experiences (though this would be challenging given the provided reviews).
  • Convenience and Efficiency: Emphasizing quick turnaround times and flexible scheduling.
  • Special Offers: Discounts on common services like oil changes or brake inspections.

In the context of the provided reviews, any promotional efforts by Complete Auto Service would need to heavily focus on rebuilding trust and demonstrating a significant overhaul in their customer service and operational practices. Addressing the specific concerns raised by customers, such as diagnostic accuracy, accountability for damages, and clear documentation, would be paramount before any effective positive promotion could take place. Without addressing these foundational issues, promotional messaging would likely be undermined by existing public feedback.

This place is a rip off. They can’t even remember what they diagnose your problem. Then they constantly try to find other stuff. My boyfriend took his car there and they broke his brake line and was going to let him pull off. They knew it was broke because they moved the car and it had no brakes in which they were fine when he dropped it off.also we had to wait for someone to bring him the receipt for what they say they fixed from someone who was not there. What place can’t print out a receipt. They will be hearing from his layer. Then he said I’m sorry. Did not offer to fix what they broke. Stay away from this place please they are crooked as can be. A negative star for you. Karma will hit you

I give 5 stars for my experience with Jamaal, the gas station attendant, keeping me company in the lobby. Mike, at least that's how he identified himself (which may have been a lie), came across as dishonest in my opinion. So, for Mike, I give him 1 star.
