City World Ford Service

First of all the worst service I have ever experienced. I dropped off my car asking for the 5K maintenance (replace oil and filter), changing my flat tire, putting my spare tire to back on n it’s slot under trunk and adjusting tire pressure after replacement. After waiting a one day they said that I can pick up the car. When I got my car, found that oil and filter were not changed, the spare tire was not placed in its slot (it was in trunk, please see attached images) , the tire pressure was not adjusted. When I asked the official Demetrius why these were not done? I received an answers that the oil and filter don’t need to be changed and even he claimed that I wouldn’t say it … when he continued talking to me in an extremely indifferent manner, I took my car and left the service. It was a disgraceful experience. I don’t recommend it to anyone

After scheduling an appointment and arriving exactly on time, I was made to wait 45 minutes standing outside, only to be told that brake checks were not being done. When I complained, the representative simply said, "It's fine." Worst experience ever.

What can I say about this place ?! I’ve been here on more than occasion and it can be a hit or miss although I usually have to miss before I get a hit ! At this point I get anxiety just thinking of having to go to this service center because of the extremely poor customer service. For one I have dropped my car off at this service center and have been basically been left for dead when I try to call the service center and get in contact with somebody who will call me back for any update . I would call the service center number and the secretary or whomever answers the calls always asks for your name and number only for you to have to continuously have to call to get any type of answer (even if it’s a rude one). So, my last visit here was with a ford representative by the name of Miguel who seemed like a descent representative until I called the service center and spoke to an “OLGA” who asked for my name and number only for me to have to call three hours later and still not get a response. Finally , when I speak with “Miguel” he is rude and tells me that there have been cars at this service center for two weeks. I then proceeded to call ford directly and file a complaint for the poor customer service. I was being told that my car was probably not going to be even looked at the day I dropped it off (mind you I was literally the first person at this service center with a scheduled appointment for the issue I input into the system). After , I made the complaint and called ford directly, coincidentally I get a call at 4:20 p.m. saying that my car was diagnosed and that it was good to go . I still don’t think they actually checked it thoroughly which is why I’m going to get it checked somewhere else. I have issues in the past with this service center , but I’m done going here despite the convenience of it being so close to where I live .

After a welcoming greeting it went downhill fast. With an 11am appointment, I was told my car would be ready at 3pm. I received a call to ask if I had purchased the part! What? You should have the part in stock! There was no call letting me know if my car was ready, so WE call at 3pm, and after a 20 minute hold, they had to order the part so my car would have to be there overnight. Was not given any timeline nor did they know if the part would be in the next day. "We'll call you when it's ready" click! We call the following day, get ready for this... the woman said, "the person you were speaking with is not in, he'll be here tomorrow, call back then". Not a chance she would look into the status of my car, not even a second to check if the part came in. Pure laziness having a computer with all the information in front of your face, with absolutely ZERO customer service from the front office. The mechanics were great. Service was so bad that no matter what issue I may have with my car I will never, ever go there again. Trust me NEVER!

If you know, what’s good, do not take your car to the repair shop at FORD city world auto if you take it in for one thing the next thing you know your car will be messed up. They are the worst ever. I will never take my car back there ever again. They put a dent in my car and they messed up other features on my car and they had a dog or a cat in my car they had my car for 3 months I call them they never get back to me never again

Beware: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! They installed a new transmission in my explorer in June 2024 but didn't bolt it in all the way (it's missing multiple bolts), so it has been shaking and grinding for months unbeknownst to me. Now it's burnt up and I need another new transmission in less than a year and less than 20,000 miles. We moved out of state a few months ago so l had to have it towed to the nearest ford service center in my new state. When they lifted my car up, they seen the transmission about to fall out. The new mechanic sent me a video and you can see it loose and moving around. Ford customer service said my transmission is not covered under Ford's warranty because it was a mechanic error(workmanship) and not a manufacture error. City World ford is dodging my calls. I've called the service manager, Alex multiple times over the past week. I also called the general manager, Anthony, who is supposed to oversee sales and service on Friday (2/28/25), yesterday (3/3/25) and today (3/4/35) he has also not gotten back to me. I spoke with Claudia in the sales department, and she said the general manager can't really help me (I don't see why) and I needed to speak with Alex, the service manager. We are currently paying out of pocket for a rental because Ford is not getting back to me and the new service center my car is sitting at has no loaner vehicles. So far, this terrible service has cost me $700 in towing and rental car, not to mention the $7k it cost for a new transmission back in June.

I can’t thank Miguel and his team of mechanics at the ford service center in Boston road enough . My nephew was visiting from school and had an issue with his transmission shift rod bushing . They were able to take us right away and get him back on the road in 1 hr ! Thank you again Miguel & team for all your assistance !!!
