I highly recommend Chief Auto Glass & Tinting for any glass service for your car. I called 4-5 businesses around North County of San Diego for a price to fix a chip on my windshield. By far, Chief Auto Glass gave me the best price. The service was very professional and quick. They even fixed another small chip on my windshield for free. They took the initiative to do that; I did not even ask. Great service and the best price.

WARNING: if you want a bad tint job, bait & switch pricing, and damage to your vehicle, this place is for you! Otherwise, steer clear AWAY from this place. They may come off as kind and caring at the end of the job, but they do a VERY bad job (enough that you have to come back and have them re-do the job) then they are negligent and treat your brand new car poorly with significant damage in the area they work on! I was quoted one price, then when I show up, it was $40 more (and I gave them my vehicle information in advance). Then, one of my windows had misaligned film. Not to mention, there’s scuff, scratches, and dust in and on the film. Now the worst part, since I was only able to roll down the window recently (need to let the tint dry for a couple days) I noticed tears in my door card!!! I called them to ask them about it and they turned it into a “he said he said” situation (who in their right mind would deliberately make cuts in the interior of their brand new car??! BESIDES, they’re the ones who worked in this area!) and advised me to “do whatever I want” (versus making this situation right) so here I am with a bad review. They must not know the power of social media. It’s 2022!!! Do not come here, do not let these mediocre tinters touch your car. Save yourself the time, money, and grief. You’ve been warned. I recommend this place. Very good price and nice staff. The owner very friendly. Today I replace a windshield for Toyota Highlander hybrid. This place is very good price. I called many place and they charge me over price than more $200. After I spoke with owner. He will text you and ask all information. The answer and phone all the time. I got discounts on top off the price. They place very clean and have a room for sit down and wait. You can enjoy TV and around here have many food for walk and get something eat.

I don't recommend it really bad service they give me a receipt life guarantee I went back few days ago all my windows bad really bad I told them to fix it or get my money back and the owner told me I'm not gonna give you any money back I call the police and the police told me you have to go to small claims court so plz be careful with this place..

Called Justin at Chief AutoThursday night and he booked us an appointment for two days later. Justin took care of us all the way from the phone call to our appointment on Saturday afternoon, and provided amazing customer service in a very timely fashion. Would not hesitate to come here again or recommend anyone use them who is reading this review. Side note - Chief Auto Glass quoted us $200 cheaper than their competitors!
