Cassady Auto Works Inc Introduce

Cassady Auto Works Inc, situated at 334 S Cannon Blvd, Shelbyville, TN 37160, USA, operates within the platform category of “Auto Repair Stations.” This classification indicates that the business is primarily engaged in providing services related to the repair and maintenance of automobiles, and may also offer various auto parts for sale. The auto parts store aspect suggests that customers might find a selection of components and accessories available for purchase directly from the facility, complementing their repair and service offerings. They can be reached via phone at (931) 684-2850 or mobile at +1 931-684-2850, providing direct contact for inquiries and service scheduling.

Regarding the environment of Cassady Auto Works Inc, based on typical auto repair establishments, one would expect a functional and practical setting. While specific details about the waiting area, garage layout, or cleanliness are not explicitly provided in the available information, an auto repair station generally features a reception area for customer interaction, a workshop or garage area equipped with lifts, tools, and diagnostic equipment for vehicle servicing, and potentially a section for displaying or storing auto parts. The location on S Cannon Blvd suggests it is situated in a commercial area of Shelbyville, likely offering reasonable accessibility for local residents. The nature of auto repair work means the environment is built for efficiency and the technical demands of vehicle servicing. It is common for such facilities to manage a flow of vehicles requiring various levels of attention, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

Cassady Auto Works Inc provides a range of services typically found in an auto repair station, in addition to some specialized offerings. Their core services, as gathered from online information, include general auto repair, oil changes, engine service and repair, and air conditioning and heating system services. This suggests they handle common vehicle issues and routine maintenance needs. Notably, Cassady Auto Works Inc is also listed as an authorized installer for Intoxalock Ignition Interlock devices. This specialized service caters to individuals required to install such devices in their vehicles, often due to legal mandates. As an Intoxalock service center, they would be responsible for the installation, calibration, and removal of these car breathalyzer units, and would offer support to clients navigating state requirements. This dual focus on general automotive repair and specialized ignition interlock services positions them as a versatile provider within the Shelbyville auto service landscape. The availability of auto parts, as implied by the "auto parts store" description, means they likely stock common replacement parts and possibly have access to a wider inventory through suppliers, allowing for quicker repairs and parts accessibility for customers.

The features of Cassady Auto Works Inc, as described by customer reviews, present a mixed picture, which is important for an objective introduction. While some external aggregate reviews might show a higher rating, the specific direct customer feedback provided offers critical insights.

  • Repeat Issues and Cost: A significant concern raised by multiple customers is the recurrence of the same issue after repairs and subsequent additional charges. One customer states, "Took my truck in for an issue three times charging me each time. Over a thousand dollars. Truck still doing the same thing. I will never be back bunch of crooks the owner being the biggest." This indicates a potential issue with diagnostic accuracy or repair effectiveness, leading to frustration and increased expenses for the client.
  • Damage During Repair: Another serious complaint involves damage allegedly caused during a repair. A customer recounts, "This place had my vehicle in 3 time for the same oil leak. Finally they ended up replacing my axel seals. When I got the car back it was pouring oil on my new driveway. I took it back and they charged me an additional 300.00 because they damaged an internal seal when they installed the outter seals." This suggests a possible lack of care or accountability for issues arising from their work, leading to unexpected costs for the customer.
  • Lack of Communication and Owner Responsiveness: A consistent theme in the negative feedback is the perceived lack of willingness by the owner to discuss issues or address customer concerns. The customer who experienced the damaged seal notes, "I felt this was bad business. We never discussed an additional charge, and I feel like they charged me for something they caused! The owner wouldn’t even discuss the issue with me." This highlights a potential challenge in customer service and dispute resolution, which is crucial for building and maintaining customer trust in an "Auto Repair Stations" environment.
  • Mechanic Naming: One review mentions "Key I think is the mechanics name," which suggests some level of personal interaction with mechanics, though the context implies this interaction did not resolve the issue.
These features, drawn directly from customer experiences, indicate areas where the business may face challenges in consistently meeting customer expectations for effective repairs, transparent pricing, and responsive customer service. On the other hand, some aggregated online reviews (not provided in the prompt but generally available through public search) for "Cassady Auto Works" might present a more positive average rating with mentions of "great customer service" and "reasonable price" from different periods or specific service types, such as ignition interlock installation. It's crucial to acknowledge this duality in objective reporting.

Regarding promotional information, no specific promotional offers or advertising campaigns for Cassady Auto Works Inc are provided in the given data. In the automotive repair industry, common promotions include discounts on routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire rotations, or brake inspections. Businesses often offer seasonal deals, new customer incentives, or loyalty programs. For a facility that also handles specialized services like ignition interlock device installation, promotions might focus on competitive pricing for installation, calibration, or a streamlined process for compliance. Given the customer feedback, future promotional efforts would ideally focus on rebuilding trust and demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, perhaps through guarantees on repairs or clear communication protocols. However, based solely on the provided information, no such promotional details are available. Potential customers are advised to contact the business directly to inquire about current services, pricing, and any ongoing offers or to clarify concerns based on the provided customer feedback.

My husband currently works here. My husband is an amazing mechanic. Probably the BEST one I know by far. He definitely has his specialties (older Chevy's) so if you're needing older cars and especially old Chevy's ask for Travis to do your car!

I've had a Jasper engine for about 2 years now. Bill and crew installed. Great job! It's still running strong with over 40k miles. He backs up what he promises.

Had an ignition coil changed there a few months back. Within a month I was on youtube figuring out how to change my own coils because my car was stuttering. They used an ‘aftermarket’ coil that was not suited to my vehicle at all. And it was loose! Overpriced the coil and labor by a good bit considering I bought 4 new factory coils for the price of one of theirs. Wasn’t even going to leave a review but today I have watched them charge $1200 for 4 rotors to my coworker. No labor included, just claiming the rotors are $300 a piece. Stay away from Cassady if you want work you can trust at a reasonable cost. In short- price gougers who suck at their jobs.
