Cartel Double Discount Introduce

Located at 6330 Passyunk Ave, Suite 2, Philadelphia, PA 19153, Cartel Double Discount stands as a prominent and established entity in the local automotive landscape, particularly within the category of Auto Repair Stations. While the name might suggest a broad range of automotive services, Cartel Double Discount's primary focus and expertise lie in providing an extensive selection of used auto parts and offering services related to auto salvage. This business has been a key player in the Philadelphia area since 1968, indicating a long-standing reputation and deep roots within the community.

The facility at Cartel Double Discount operates as a comprehensive auto salvage yard, making it Philadelphia's largest. This means that the environment is geared towards the efficient processing and storage of vehicles, from those deemed junk to those with salvageable components. Upon visiting, users can expect to find a sprawling yard where vehicles are systematically dismantled, and their usable parts are carefully cataloged and stored. The nature of a salvage yard implies an organized, yet industrial, setting. While direct insight into the specific aesthetics of their customer waiting areas or sales counters isn't available, the core business emphasizes functionality and accessibility to a vast inventory of parts. The environment is designed to facilitate the rapid identification and retrieval of needed components, ensuring a streamlined experience for those seeking specific parts.

Regarding services, Cartel Double Discount excels in several key areas crucial for local users in the "Auto Repair Stations" category. Primarily, they specialize in the sale of used auto parts. Their inventory is reported to be vast, encompassing thousands of used parts for a wide array of vehicles, including late-model rebuildable cars, trucks, SUVs, and minivans. This extensive selection is a significant advantage for individuals and repair shops looking for cost-effective alternatives to new components. Whether you're in need of an engine, transmission, radiator, or countless other smaller components, Cartel Double Discount aims to be a one-stop shop. They cater to a diverse range of vehicle types and years, making it a reliable resource for many different repair projects.

Beyond parts sales, Cartel Double Discount also offers a crucial service: purchasing junk cars for cash. This provides a convenient and hassle-free solution for individuals looking to dispose of their old, damaged, or non-functional vehicles. The company emphasizes offering cash for these vehicles and provides no-charge towing, which significantly simplifies the process for sellers. This dual function of buying and selling parts contributes to a sustainable automotive ecosystem, recycling valuable materials and making them accessible to others. Furthermore, they sell rebuildable cars, trucks, SUVs, and minivans with salvage and clean titles. These vehicles often come with various types of damage, such as theft, flood, or accident-related issues, offering a more affordable option for those with the skills and resources to undertake repairs.

The features that set Cartel Double Discount apart are largely centered around their extensive inventory and their commitment to providing affordable solutions. Being Philadelphia's largest salvage yard translates to a significant volume of parts available, increasing the likelihood that customers will find exactly what they need. Their long history since 1968 also speaks to their experience and reliability in the industry. The focus on "double discount" in their name might imply competitive pricing or a tiered pricing structure, though specific details on this are not publicly available. However, the nature of a used auto parts store inherently means significant savings compared to purchasing new OEM parts, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious individuals and repair shops. Their location in Southwest Philadelphia, just minutes away from New Jersey, also highlights their accessibility for a broader regional customer base.

In terms of promotional information, while specific current deals or loyalty programs for "Cartel Double Discount" are not explicitly detailed in publicly available information, the very name suggests a commitment to value. Businesses operating under the "double discount" moniker often employ strategies like offering discounted prices on parts, perhaps even further reductions for specific bulk purchases or for repeat customers. Given their position as a salvage yard, their main "promotion" is the inherent cost-effectiveness of their used parts compared to new ones. They implicitly promote the idea of significant savings on essential automotive components. Customers seeking the best value for their auto repair needs would naturally gravitate towards such a business. It's common for businesses in this sector to rely on word-of-mouth and their established reputation for competitive pricing as their primary form of promotion. Potential customers are encouraged to contact them directly for current inventory and pricing, as the nature of used parts means availability can fluctuate.

In summary, Cartel Double Discount serves as a crucial resource for the local Philadelphia community and beyond within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. Their specialization in used auto parts and comprehensive auto salvage services provides a unique and valuable offering. From their extensive inventory of affordable components to their convenient junk car buying services, they aim to facilitate cost-effective and efficient vehicle repair and disposal. Their long-standing presence in the market underscores their reliability and commitment to serving automotive needs.

This African guy (sorry I don't know his name) consistently overcharges for parts. I have a feeling he just makes up prices on the spot. For example, today he wanted $54 for a seat belt I took out myself from a 20 year old car. He wasn't even willing to negotiate. I can get a new one for about $33 and that's what I'm going to do. It's a shame because this is the closest junk yard to my home and they have a wide selection of cars. When people come to a junk yard to take parts out themselves, it's because they're looking for low prices. Apparently, this person doesn't get it.

Horrible!!! Just horrible!!! I called them to confirm the type and the color of the part i needed was available after i saw it online. When i came i was told to wait for assistant who'd take us to show the part. After 25 min the guy came and drove us around the junk cars after which brought us back to the office. Then we were told we had to go to another "cartel double discount" place. We had a hard time finding that other place after unclear directions we were given. Some random person we asked on the road was much friendlier and helpful with that. As we arrived to the second "cartel" we were told there was no color that i needed and we were advised to go back to the first "cartel". I almost broke in tears telling them I'm just coming from there. Then the guy... I believe was manager.. (the one who was answering the phone) told me i could paint available part in the color i needed. We left with nothing.. after wasting all that time and driving 20 miles back and forth.

Very bad business, I went there for a Power steering pump "pulley" Just the pulley, he told me to go in the back and get it. I pulled it out was going to get another tool. When I talk to the same guy again he told me I can't buy just the pulley after I already took it apart. He said I had to buy the whole assembly. That it was my loss for all the work I did to get it off. And said my loss that the next person will be easier for. I said his your loss because I didn't leave it with the same car I moved it just incase someone came while I was at my car getting another tool. So who's the looser now. I do alot of work for people and will never goback again

Someone needs to fire that African/Caribbean guy. He doesn't get the concept of a junkyard. He consistently charges prices that are double market rate for a part I took out myself. I can get the same part from ebay with shipping and tax for slightly less than what that guy always wants. Moreover, he is not willing to negotiate and ends up not selling the part. It is like he is fighting against his own interests. It is not a bad junkyard, it would be even better without that guy.
