Several key features distinguish Carneys Auto Center and solidify its reputation as a preferred auto repair station. A significant feature is their team of ASE Master Certified Technicians. This certification signifies a high level of expertise and ongoing professional development, assuring customers that their vehicles are handled by highly qualified and knowledgeable professionals who are up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair methods. Another prominent feature, frequently highlighted by customers, is their unwavering commitment to honesty and transparency. This includes clearly explaining vehicle issues, providing documented evidence (sometimes with pictures) of needed repairs, and never attempting to "sell" customers unnecessary services. This ethical approach builds deep trust. Carneys Auto Center also utilizes up-to-date computer diagnostic systems, allowing them to quickly and accurately diagnose complex engine performance issues and other problems, which is crucial for modern vehicles. Their ability to service a wide range of foreign and domestic vehicles, including European and Asian brands (like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Land Rover, BMW, Volvo, Honda, Lexus, Audi, Toyota, Volkswagen, Acura, GM, Ford, and Chrysler), is a strong feature, making them accessible to almost any car owner. Furthermore, their status as an approved repair facility for many pre-owned vehicle warranties provides convenience and financial peace of mind for customers with extended coverage. Many customers also praise their timeliness and efficiency, often reporting quick turnarounds without compromising on the quality of work. This commitment to both speed and precision, along with a focus on using "all original parts" where appropriate, underscores their dedication to doing the best job possible and returning vehicles fixed "to perfection."
In terms of promotional information, Carneys Auto Center leverages its strong reputation and customer-centric policies to attract and retain clientele. While specific, time-sensitive promotions may vary and are best confirmed directly, their standard operational procedures often function as ongoing promotional benefits. For instance, their emphasis on providing honest assessments and not performing unnecessary work is a powerful promotional message that directly addresses a common fear among vehicle owners. They actively promote the fact that they can beat dealership pricing while using "all original parts" and offering faster turnaround times, presenting a compelling value proposition. Their extensive positive customer reviews, accessible on platforms like CARFAX, serve as a very strong form of organic promotion. These testimonials frequently highlight their trustworthiness, friendliness, knowledge, and efficient service, encouraging new customers to choose them. The fact that they are a locally owned and operated auto repair shop is often highlighted, appealing to customers who prefer to support local businesses and benefit from a more personalized service experience. While not explicitly mentioned as a universal offer, some locations might run occasional specials, such as discounts on oil changes or tire services, as seen in general auto service promotions from similar businesses. However, their primary promotional strength lies in their consistent delivery of quality, reliable, and honest auto repair services that build enduring customer loyalty and strong word-of-mouth referrals within their communities.

Carneys Auto Center Customer Reviews
I dropped my car off at Carneys around early november, and told him what was wrong with the car: my transmission was blown, and something with my o2 sensor was triggering a check engine light. After i dropped it off, I called the next day to confirm what the issues were. Around 3 weeks after dropping off my car, I tried to get in touch with George, and the receptionist told me he would call me back that afternoon. This happened 4 days in a row without them ever calling me back, so I decided to go up there. I was finally able to speak to George and all he told me was the same thing "we're about to drop the pan on the transmission. I will call you this afternoon after we're done." And of course i got no call back. About a week later I finally hear back from George and what he said I swear is 100% true, and both the most hilarious and frustrating thing ever. George: "so I got good news and bad news. Good news is you dont have to pay me for the work we did (which turned out to be nothing) Bad news is what we thought the issue was, it wasnt. We think its your transmission" Me: "yeah I know its my transmission I said that, so what now do I have to replace the whole thing or is it just a part or 2 that broke" And George said to me after having my car for over a month "I dont know, we dont work on transmissions here" So i had to have my car towed to a group of compitent mechanics who had the issue solved in 5 days. And now I wasnt going to leave a negative review because he told me he fixed the o2 sensor at least. And im a very understanding person: i figured even if he wasted a month of my life waiting for him to fix a part he knew he couldnt fix, and costed me hundreds of dollars to get to and from work since i didnt have my car, at least he fixed the o2 sensor for free... but he didnt... When I got my car back I noticed that the check engine light was on and was throwing the same code i brought it in for... but it wasnt showing as when i got it from Georges... they erased the code and said they fixed it. So all i really want at this point is an answer. They had the car for a month knowing they couldnt fix the transmission and deciding not the fix the o2 sensor, what were they doing in this time. I genuinly feel like they were sitting there either A) trying to figure out if it was a car they were looking at or B) chewing on a bag of quarters In conclusion in sure George and his guys are fine for basic maintnance (oil changes, and maybe brake pads if theyre having a good day) but if you have any work needed on a car that you wouldnt trust a 15 year old to do, bring it to anyone but Carneys... horrible experience all around...and this is the first review ive ever written simply because i dont want this to happen to anyone else.

Great garage. The staff are really super friendly and they are very honest people. Oil changes don't take to long and they don't overcharge you. They seem to have a loyal customer base so I will be going back for my next scheduled maintenance. Great little garage I definitely recommend them

A place you take older vehicles for repair. Sour Unfriendly Receptionist. No Call Backs Once Car Is Dropped Off. Scolded by "George" for not owning a newer vehicle. Why would I go to that DUMP with a new car? Expensive service. NEVER give you the old, supposedly, "broken" parts they charged you big $$$ to "replace". Trust them? Ask for your old parts...wear ear protection. Must pay in cash $$$ or HUNDREDS of $$$ Are Added To Your Bill. No Coffee. Place Is Crickets. Pay A LOT OF CASH for being treated poorly. Unfriendly Area.

I switched from a run of the mill place and I'm glad. I took my car in to be looked at and George was honest and suggested I junk it so I did. Safety first! Probably saved me from a bad accident waiting to happen. Carneys even helped me find someone to junk it. I recommend . My daughter also uses Carneys. Fair pricing.

Awsome shop staff is friendly and helpful. I bring all my cars from foreign, classics, or my every day drivers, and have never had a problem. Knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and by far the best in the area.
