Burns Chevrolet Service Introduce

Welcome to Burns Chevrolet Service, an Auto Repair Station located at 2515 Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732, USA. As a service arm of a Chevrolet dealership, Burns Chevrolet Service primarily caters to the maintenance and repair needs of Chevrolet vehicles, and based on customer feedback, also services other makes like Buick. Operating within the Auto Repair Stations category, they offer a range of services and potentially sell related goods, ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of your vehicle. The reviews provide a glimpse into their service quality and customer interactions, highlighting both positive and areas for potential improvement.

As an integral part of a Chevrolet dealership, the environment at Burns Chevrolet Service likely includes a professional service reception area where customers can check in their vehicles and discuss their service needs with knowledgeable staff. The service bays would be equipped with specialized tools and diagnostic equipment designed for Chevrolet vehicles, and likely also capable of servicing other makes. Customers might expect a comfortable waiting area with amenities such as seating, Wi-Fi, and perhaps refreshments. The overall environment is likely geared towards providing a reliable and brand-specific service experience.

The services offered at Burns Chevrolet Service, based on customer reviews and the nature of a dealership service center, include:

  • Oil Changes: A routine maintenance service that customers have utilized, with varying experiences regarding pricing and inclusions.
  • Tire Rotation: A service intended to extend tire life and ensure even wear, which was a point of contention in one customer's experience regarding its inclusion in a special offer.
  • Tire Replacement: A necessary service for worn or damaged tires, with one customer indicating they were informed of the need for replacement and planning accordingly.
  • General Vehicle Maintenance: Encompassing a range of services to keep vehicles running smoothly, potentially including fluid checks, filter replacements, and other preventative measures.
  • Diagnostic Services: Utilizing specialized equipment to identify and address mechanical and electrical issues specific to Chevrolet and other vehicles.
  • Warranty Repairs: Handling repairs covered under the manufacturer's warranty for Chevrolet vehicles.
  • Other Potential Services: Depending on the dealership's offerings, they might also include services like brake repair, battery replacement, air conditioning service, and more.

The features of Burns Chevrolet Service, as indicated by the customer reviews, present a mixed perspective. One notable positive feature is the professionalism and educational approach of some of their young adult employees. One customer specifically praised their ability to educate customers on the details of the service provided, fostering understanding and trust. This suggests a commitment to transparent communication and customer education.

However, another significant feature highlighted by a review is potential inconsistency or lack of clarity regarding service specials and pricing. One customer reported a discrepancy between a advertised special that included tire rotation and the information provided by the service technician at the time of service, leading to a higher cost than expected. This suggests a need for improved communication and adherence to advertised promotions.

The fact that one customer has been doing business with Burns for over 16 years and purchased their current car there indicates a potential for long-term customer relationships built on trust and satisfaction over time. This loyalty suggests that many customers have had positive experiences with their sales and service departments over the years.

Regarding promotional information, the mention of a "special ad" that included tire rotation with an oil change suggests that Burns Chevrolet Service does offer promotions to attract customers. However, the conflicting experience of one customer indicates that the details and application of these promotions may not always be clear or consistently applied. Local users are advised to inquire specifically about any current specials and ensure they understand the terms and conditions before proceeding with any service.

For local users in Rock Hill, SC, Burns Chevrolet Service at 2515 Cherry Rd offers a dedicated service center for Chevrolet vehicles, with the potential to service other makes as well. The reviews suggest that while some customers have experienced excellent service and a transparent approach, there may be inconsistencies in the application of promotional offers. Potential customers should weigh the convenience of a dealership service center with the need to clarify all pricing and promotional details upfront.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the current services offered, pricing, and any ongoing promotions at Burns Chevrolet Service, local residents are encouraged to contact them directly at (803) 470-0126 or +1 803-470-0126. It would be beneficial to inquire about any service specials and to clearly confirm what is included in the price before scheduling or proceeding with any maintenance or repairs. Given the mixed feedback, proactive communication can help ensure a satisfactory service experience.

In conclusion, Burns Chevrolet Service operates as an Auto Repair Station in Rock Hill, SC, primarily catering to Chevrolet vehicles and also servicing other makes. While some customers praise the knowledgeable and communicative staff, there are indications of potential issues with the clarity and application of service specials. Local users considering Burns Chevrolet Service should inquire about current promotions and ensure a clear understanding of the services and associated costs to make an informed decision about their vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

Burns Chevrolet Service Customer Reviews

The young adults employed by Burns are extraordinary! They ensure you are educated on every detail of the service provided. And my 2021 "Buick Encore" named "Joy," and I appreciate the care they give her. As I was informed, we are going to be replacing her tires. I am working toward that immediately to do 2) replacement at a time. Thank you, guys! She will be taken care of ASAP! Mrs. Mary

I have been doing business with Burns for over 16 years, and purchased my current car there. I went in yesterday to get an oil change and tires rotated. I was informed that the tire rotation would be an additional charge. I told the service tech that their special ad included tire rotation. All I got was a blank stare and told it was not included. AAA has a special of $69.95 including tire rotation. I paid $90.00 for less service.

The certified service side should take notes from the quick service side. I took my truck in for brakes and I stood in the bay and about 3 or 4 employees walked past without speaking. Which was odd because I was just the second customer in. But I saw one being personable with another customer. Then the person that helped didn’t greet me but rather just asked how could he help. I told him I need a brake inspection and he said it would be 183.00 but I could take it I the quick service side and they could do it for free. That was it. The only person in this morning that was personable was a tech who was joking about Clemson and SC with me. And he asked questions when I said something about brakes. I’m not going to assume why I didn’t get the same customer service as the other customer but what I can say is other than the quick lube, who is fantastic, I will not buy a truck or get any other service from there. If quick lube there can’t do it I will drive all the way to Charlotte to south blvd where I got it.

Burns Chevrolet really said “let’s see how many wrong answers we can charge her for.” Paid them $4,500 less than a year ago to rebuild my transmission. Car starts acting up again—they say it’s the battery ($300). Still acts up. Now it’s the starter ($680). THEN they say it’s the torque converter. Got a second opinion? Torque converter’s fine. Transmission they “rebuilt”? Total trash. Needs replacing. And now these cowards won’t return my calls. This place is a masterclass in incompetence and gaslighting. If you like burning money and being lied to, Burns Chevy’s your spot. Otherwise? RUN.

Overall experience was ok. A little unorganized but the task at hand was taken care of. Walked in, no one even acknowledged that I was there. Granted they were busy but no one even stated that they would be with me in just a moment! I finally walked up to a window considering I did have an appointment where Mike seemed very frustrated that he had to assist me, by banging on the window to get my attention verses addressing me as Mame' or Miss. My back up camera was glitching in and out and when scheduling the appointment I asked the person scheduling my appointment if I needed to be dropped off or should I wait. She stated that I could wait because they would be able to diagnose the issue within a hour which was incorrect according to Mike, who immediately informed me that wasn't correct and seemed to aggravate him even more. I went to the lobby where I waited for 3 hrs patiently for Mike to come in to inform me that they made a call an hr ago to GM to figure out what was wrong with the backup camera, where was that update a hr ago. I was told that I needed to leave it and they would possibly know what was wrong by 5pm. I was picked up and received a call by 4pm to let me know they needed to keep the car. The car was kept over the weekend and a rental was provided which is ok, just the inconsideration of my time and the rudeness was very unprofessional.
