I've been loyal to the Burns dealership and have serviced all of my cars there since we moved to Rock Hill and will continue to use them for future purchases. Burns Body Shop has been a vastly different experience. Because of my relationship with the dealership, I took 2 of my cars to the body shop for hail damage repairs. Both are 2024 models with low miles and extremely well cared for and garage kept. The damage was significant and I expected repairs to take some time though I was quoted 1.5 weeks for the first car I dropped off. My first car took about 4-5 weeks for repairs. When I picked it up, I shared my immediate concerns with the driver side door and there were new scratches on the hood and a large scratch on back side. They apologized and explained I could return the car for repairs once my other car was finished. I agreed. After 8 weeks, I received a call stating my second car was complete and my wife and I returned the rental car. Upon arrival we noticed a one inch gap where the front windshield connects to the frame molding. We also immediately noticed large and small scratches all over the vehicle. Their explanation was "we reviewed the vehicle and didn't notice the damage until you pointed it out". Its unacceptable. They are in the business to not cause additional damage to vehicles they agree to repair and should "notice" work was not completed correctly and additional damage was caused while in their possession. Two additional weeks have now passed since I refused the 2nd vehicle and they have not felt obligated to call me with any updates. Out of frustration, I called this morning and requested an update and was told, "it should be ready this afternoon but they would follow up with me in a few hours to confirm". Not surprisingly, they never followed up with me... Managing a household with one vehicle has been a challenge and has added monetary consequences due to their poor management of the business and lack of care for their work. Even after my second car is finished, I still need to take the first car back which will cause additionally challenges to my household and my wallet. You would think, being a dealership, they would offer a loaner... At this point, I have hired a reputable repair shop who will insect their work once both vehicles are finished as I am concerned with their integrity, quality of work and blatant disregard for care of the vehicles they are committed to repairing without causing additional damages. I will work with my insurance company based on their findings and take appropriate actions as needed. I have never had an experience with such a poorly run business and advise potential customers to consider the numerous options in the city for their repairs. I will add, Holly has been great and have had a pleasant experience with her. Update 1: Today I received the call I have been waiting for - "Your car is ready". Unfortunately, they failed to properly inspect the vehicle for second time. When we arrived, we only looked at one side of the vehicle before refusing it again. The paint job on the drivers side rear door was uneven and had large discoloration streaks throughout most of the door that could not be wiped off. It appears the problem is under the clear coat which will need to be removed, repainted and then clear coated again (this is just my assumption) Regardless, next week will be 12 weeks since I dropped off the car and I don't have a resolution or a solution from the body shop. We will continue to wait until visually it is acceptable before we drop it off at a reputable repair shop for inspection. Despite the issues with both cars, the manager has not seen the need to reach out to me though I requested he follow up with me. Update 2: Picked up the car yesterday but it would not start due to a dead battery. Incredible disappointed we have requested twice for the manager to contact us but they cant even get that right and he refuses to return my phone call. I have never even spoken to the man but he is clearly not capable of dealing with customers.

Had a terrible experience at another body shop. Worked with Holly who was fantastic to work with to get the car moved from the other shop to Burns. She kept me updated every step of the way. Highly recommend.

10/10 would recommend! I chose Burns Auto Body & Paint from a list of body shops approved through Allstate Insurance. Initially the choice was a "crapshoot" and really, I was just hoping for the best. However, it turned out to be THE BEST service experiences I've had in a very, very long time. The level of competency, professionalism, positive attitude and communication was so above bar it truly blew me away. I felt so well taken care of and valued as a customer. Other auto body shop businesses (ex. Hendrick, Gerber & Caliber shops) should take note: go "old school" and emulate Burns approach. Treat your customers honestly, be up front, be accessible for any questions or concerns they may have and keep your word! Will be referring/recommending Burns Auto Body & Paint. Burns had my beloved 2020 Audi A7 towed there following an unfortunate sideswipe, which also impacted my front end. From start to finish (and beyond), Burns provided first-rate service and great attention to detail. The Alan and Burns team kept me informed as repairs were underway, including updates on arriving parts, completion timeline, etc. When my car was ready for pickup, everything operated flawlessly, and looked as squeaky-clean as the day I bought it. The work was amazing. The result! You would never know that there was damage. No matter what light hits the car, it is impossible to tell. Thanks Alan and whole Burns Team馃槑
