I took my car there because of a recall notification & it was the closest dealership to my house. I arranged a time to drop off the car & when I got there was told I should have had less gas in the tank. I pointed out that this was information that should have been relayed to me when I made the appt, not when it was too late. Next they said that the car would likely be done end of day & they would let me know. I finally called them & was told that "the technician is busy starting on your car, it'll be done tomorrow." That was a Monday. Every day until Thursday, I was told the same story. On Friday morning I called & was told that my car had been ready for 2 days. Worst experience with car service ever. I will never go back & recommend you don't either.

If I could give negative stars I would. First, they took my car for over one week and did not communicate at all as to what the status was. My texts and calls went unanswered for days. Finally, the car was ready after I hounded them for over a week. I pull up to the dealership and see my car is street parked a few blocks away and has a huge burn mark on the leather front seat. I go back in and ask the service associate for assistance and an explanation. He says the manager will call me and make it right. They never did, so I reach out and the manager says they won't be taking responsibility for the damage given we can't prove it wasn't there before. I assure you it was not there beforehand. I didn't think I needed to take pictures of every inch of my car before dropping it off at a Volkswagen dealership, but I guess you do. A really bad experience capped off by dishonesty and damage. Do not go here.

Another visit and no disappointment again ! Bravo to the whole TEAM !!! I love the free fresh danish platter and the fancy coffee machine with a big selection of custom drinks: regular and flavored coffees, hot chocolate. Tea lovers get their selection of variety of teas. I had an option to wait a little for my service or come another time to complete it (the part needed to be brought from a supplier) but I was rewarded with $100 rebate on my bill when I decided to stay and wait, so it was a win/win situation. Jasue - the consultant was great and professional. Regina - the billing specialist was excellent. Cbess - the mechanic performed a good job, so it was worth to wait for such service. The bathroom was clean and stuffed with toilet paper and soap. We could watch TV in the waiting room while others could read at planty of intimate small bar tables. There are also soma comfortable sofas and arm chairs. The valets were very polite. It was my pleasure to say "thank you all and see you next time, my friends". Kind Regards to all. Darius G.

First Encounter: This has to single handedly be the worst experience with a dealership in my 40 plus years of life. In my opinion @volkswagon should shut the place down. The worst part is that I used this place twice and the result was the same. I bought my car in for a repair, it took countless attempts and in-person arrivals for the ball to get moving on the repair. The car was undriveable, a brand new 2024 vehicle from Volkswagen mysteriously stopped working in the dead of winter. The car was towed to the shop, 2 weeks in, I called to inquire on what may be the issue. I was given the run around. I showed up to be told, the claim was submitted to insurance that very day. Weeks past and you are now submitting the claim! Fast forward a bit, speak to my claim adjuster to find out that they were having issues speaking to someone about the claim. I show up once again, to be told that the work was starting. Two months pass and I hear nothing. Ten weeks after drop off I finally call the insurance company to then be told that the car is ready for pick-up. I said how am I supposed to know!? Nobody called! I picked up the car after 10 weeks. Second Encounter: You would think I would learn but, was advised to return the car to this shop. The car was exhibiting some electrical issues. I bought the car in while another customer was having a meltdown about her car not being ready in a timely fashion. A rep came in and asked if I needed assistance. I said yes and proceeded to tell him my issue, I also told him about the last repair here and the experience I had which left a bad taste in my mouth. The month is now Nov ,the weather is changing rapidly and the car is having issues with heating, temp calculation etc. I would just like to say it is also 8am in the morning at the time of this conversation. He draws up the paperwork and tells me I could have a seat. Almost 5 hours later he tells me there 4-5 cars still in front of me. He didn't want me to sit any longer since I had already been there past the hour of 1pm. The option was given for me to leave the car and he would call me. This would have been appreciated I don't know 4 hours before. Within the 2 weeks, I emailed him for videos, pictures and updates. After a week, I was told the issue. I stated this is the same problem that was supposedly repaired back in Feb. About a week passes and I asked if he could provide the insurance details in the car. He was unable to find it, I return to the location to open a claim. An additional 5 weeks passes with correspondence between myself, claim adjuster, and the dealership. The manager was also on the correspondence. On several occasions the claim representative requested the claim. After 6 weeks, the claim was finally submitted. The price was more then I was quoted if I was going to pay out of pocket. I was irate, because I have been out of a car for 2 months and now we are playing with the final price of the bill. At no point and time was it told to me that the price changed. The manager was on the emails, he never reached out to rectify or insert himself into the situation that was clearly not being handled in a professional manner. The place is a crap show and I would be happy when Volkswagen takes the time to look into management and it's practices. I will never set foot in this place again and would advise anyone who is looking for a professional environment to take their car elsewhere. The real kicker was that my car was missing gas and had gained 20 additional miles in mileage. According to the representative the car was not being used but, I discovered this little tidbit way before the repairs had been done. My audio settings had also been changed and a spanish radio station was playing in the car. I do not use my radio. I also have pictures and screenshots of my gas at drop off vs pick-up. I have a screenshot of my cars location at the time it was supposed to be parked at the dealer. They are certainly using customer cars for personal use. I will be taking this up with corporate as well.

When another mechanic saw the work they did on my car, they were shocked. Told me never to go to them again. That with the bad customer service and steep prices pretty much assures I will not. All the work they did had to be fixed by another mechanic. Brooklyn VW replaced my oil pan only to barely screw it in, the other mechanic undid what screws had not fallen out with his bare hands. Half the work done I had to get redone despite paying over $1k for the services. When I called to talk to the guy that worked on my car and ask about what happened they dropped my phone call.

Do not take you car here. I took my car in for a fuel pump recall. I went ahead and filled up my tank after and the fuel gauge only showed as half full. Once discussing this with them as I did not have any issues with the fuel gauge prior they refused to fix the issue that they caused and instead wanted me to pay. I do not recommend taking your car here at all.

Brooklyn VW service was a terrible experience. I dropped my atlas sport off to have it repaired under warranty for faulty infotainment system. The part was ordered and I left my vehicle at VW overnight. I was told by text by a service tech esquiel that my car was ready the following day after the new part was put in. My wife took uber there to pick up the car but they changed their story last minute about how the part wasn't the right one or that it wasn't installed properly. They were speaking in riddles. We lost time and pay and to say they would give us a loaner vehicle however they didn't have one at their location!!. It took all day up until they told us to come there that the issue wasn't fixed. They wasted our time. Me and my wife both work and can't afford to work around their schedules. Time to move on to another VW dealer and see if they can rectify this issue. I have BROOKLYN PEEPS stay away from these amateurs.....
