Bronson Tire Introduce
Bronson Tire, located at 17740 W Seven Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48235, USA, operates as an auto repair station, offering various services to the local community. Their contact information includes a phone number (313) 472-5575 and a mobile phone number +1 313-472-5575. As an entity falling under the platform category of **Auto Repair Stations**, Bronson Tire is positioned to provide essential automotive services and related goods for sale, catering to a range of vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
The **environment** at Bronson Tire, as gleaned from customer experiences, appears to be one that, at times, struggles with consistency in its customer service and pricing transparency. While some customers have reported positive interactions, noting quick issue resolution and good prices, others have expressed significant dissatisfaction. The dynamic of the business, particularly with a shift in management, seems to have impacted the overall customer perception. The establishment can be seen as a local fixture, potentially benefiting from its convenient location ("right by my house" as one review states). However, the perception of an environment where a focus on "taking your money and overpriced" services can emerge, as highlighted by one detailed negative review, indicates a varied and potentially inconsistent customer experience. There isn't an emphasis on a luxurious waiting area or highly polished facilities, suggesting a focus on the mechanical work itself.
In terms of **services**, Bronson Tire primarily deals with general car repair and maintenance. Based on the customer reviews, their services explicitly include:
- **Tire Services:** This is a core offering, as indicated by the business name itself. Customers visit for tire issues, ranging from frequent flats to general tire purchases and installation. One positive review specifically mentions resolving an issue that caused "purchasing tires every week," suggesting they can diagnose and fix underlying problems leading to tire wear.
- **Brake Services:** While not explicitly detailed in all reviews, the nature of general auto repair suggests brake services would be a standard offering. One review mentions a quote for front and rear brakes, indicating this service is available.
- **Suspension Inspections and Repairs:** One customer recounts an inspection on their truck's suspension, leading to the discovery and replacement of a missing bolt. This indicates their capability in diagnosing and addressing suspension-related problems.
- **General Diagnostics and Repairs:** The incident where a truck "died as soon as I pulled up to my garage" and was subsequently put on a lift for diagnosis and repair highlights their capacity for broader automotive troubleshooting.
- **Parts Sales/Installation:** The example of the $65 bolt suggests they also provide and charge for specific auto parts as part of their repair services.
The **features** of Bronson Tire are a mixed bag, reflecting the diverse customer experiences. On the positive side, one notable feature is their ability to **diagnose and resolve recurring issues quickly and at a great price**, as highlighted by the customer who was frequently buying tires. This suggests a competence in troubleshooting and providing effective solutions for complex or ongoing problems. The convenience of their location, "right by my house," is also a practical feature for local residents seeking immediate assistance.
However, the negative feedback points to several concerning features. A significant issue appears to be **inconsistent pricing and perceived overcharging**, with a new management being cited as only concerned with "taking your money and overpriced." The incident where a customer was charged $65 for a single bolt, even raising the eyebrow of the technician, exemplifies this concern. Another critical feature, or rather a lack thereof, is **poor customer service and a lack of responsiveness**. This is starkly illustrated by the flat tire incident where the staff allegedly told the customer to "go down the street" despite the tire being fully flat, deeming it "not worth the time." The most alarming feature, however, is the alleged **lack of accountability and potential security issues**, as detailed in the incident where a catalytic converter went missing from a truck left overnight. The refusal to show camera footage, despite the seriousness of the claim, points to a troubling aspect of their operation and customer trust.
Regarding **promotional information**, the provided reviews do not offer explicit marketing messages or ongoing deals from Bronson Tire. Instead, the perception of their "pricing" is a prominent theme, though with conflicting reports. One positive review mentions a "great price" for a repair that resolved a recurring tire issue. Conversely, the negative feedback emphasizes "overpriced" services and attempts to "charge me 65 dollars for a bolt." This suggests that any promotional efforts would likely focus on value and affordability, given the competitive nature of the auto repair industry, but the customer experiences indicate that consistency in delivering on that promise may be a challenge. Without specific promotional material, it's difficult to outline active campaigns, but the natural draw for customers would be the promise of effective repairs at a fair cost. The negative reviews, however, significantly undercut this potential appeal.
In conclusion, Bronson Tire at 17740 W Seven Mile Rd, Detroit, MI 48235, USA, operates as an auto repair station offering general maintenance, tire services, and diagnostics. While some customers have experienced positive outcomes, highlighting quick and effective repairs at good prices, a significant portion of the feedback points to issues with inconsistent pricing, perceived overcharging, and a lack of satisfactory customer service and accountability, particularly under newer management. These varied experiences make it challenging to provide a uniformly positive or negative assessment of the business, but they underscore the importance for potential customers to approach with caution and ensure clear communication regarding services and costs.

This is one of those places I always try to give the benefit of the doubt because they’re right by my house and they failed me every single time. I loved the older management but this guy is only concerned with taking your money and overpriced. I was driving by and my tire started to go flat it was early he told me to go down the street on greenfield my tire now is fully flat I’m not driving on my rim he told me it wasn’t worth the time. Another time I had got a inspection on my trucks suspension and was told I was missing a bolt the tech told me he would look around and see if he had one he did and put it on I go to pay and this guy tried to charge me 65 dollars for a bolt even the tech looked at him sideways and the last time my truck had died as soon as I pulled up to my garage it was a hour before they opened the tow truck dropped it off and I sat in my friends car until somebody got there I left my key number and a note so when they got there I went home. Not even 10 mins later my girl comes home and I leave back out to do a few things as I passed by my truck was on the lift about hour and a half later, they asked if I could come back to the shop. I go up there and they tell me the problem with my truck along with my converter is missing and asked me how long was it sitting outside because people steal them I was told they could check the camera but it would do no good but when I explained the situation they didn’t want to show the camera footage I have a few more situations with them before the first situation I wrote, but I will never go to them again

Brought my car here for a second opinion regarding my engine. I was told my engine was going bad. Brought it here and was told my engine is fine I just needed a major tune up. I brought my car here for two years to get regular maintenance. I thought I could trust this place. Turns out I was lied to about my engine. They just wanted to milk me for as much money as they could before my engine went bad. They switched out my dashboard twice. The first one they installed the gas gauge wasn't working. The second one they put in the mileage was wrong and they told me they couldn't fix it. Every time my car was worked on it smelled like gas on the inside. Whenever you sit in the waiting area the manager sits at the desk smoking like a chimney. No consideration for a paying customer. These people have absolutely no professionalism, no empathy, no remorse or respect for their customers. The car mechanics take long breaks and stand around laughing like a bunch of hyenas. They are not car mechanics more so of a butcher! You are better off going anywhere but here. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I've been coming to this shop for 6 years and in every experience I have received A1 service, I refuse to allow anyone else to work on my car other than Bronson Auto repair, I don't even go to the dealership for any repairs or automotive consultation. The management is top notch, ownership is matched by none. Thank you Bronson Automotive repair for all of the service you've provided to me over the years.
