BRAKEmax Customer Reviews

My AC was working fine, and I went in for an oil change and with some brake parts, brand-new, that I had purchased. I asked the mechanic very nicely about an all around vehicle inspection, so I could get a list of some damage done by a tow company that showed up after two AAA drivers said there was something wrong with the car that would require a special truck to tow. I'd been at a then vacant parking lot that has since turned into a Blackrock coffee place. Tow truck driver cause some car damage and didn't take me to the AAA shop I'd scheduled to be taken to. I get to this shop and as I'm in the lobby of the shop, I start looking for a lawyer for the incidents from the tow truck driver. The mechanic comes back in and I've asked for the brakes to be replaced with the parts I bought, and a top off and an oil change. As well as a mechanic vehicle inspection. Of things like struts, tires, brakes, and power steering and just many many other things, and I don't mention that I used to work at a construction companies shop as their like clerk and accounts purchasing and parts searching. He rifles through my messy cars interior, and lies to me about a few things. I ask if he's sure that the car is in 100% good condition l? He lies and says that someone wrote there was a leak in the windshield wiper fluid. My car never had an oil leak. Whatever. So he does the oil change, puts a sticker on the back of the windshield, hands me back some screws saying they weren't needed for the brakes, to return them from where I bought them. I started worrying about whether or not the tow truck driver that had me rent a jack from the parts store returned the jack, after everything else he did to me and get back to the guy at BrakeMax, he tells me to come change my oil at xyz mileage, and I pulled out of the parking lot. I turned on my AC and I can now hear my air conditioner losing pressure for the first time since I purchased my car, the AC had ran strong through the previous summer with absolutely no issues, even worked the day I had driven TO the BrakeMax. But then, the AC just started losing pressure immediately. I'd mentioned to the BrakeMax employee that I'd just had a tow truck driver possibly mess up the car and was trying to escape him and a previous stalker. And anyways that's what he did to my car to try and make me need to pay for more car repairs, and he called me a leak for trying to report the damages to my car by the guy that showed up after I called my triple A premium. He didn't tow me to the shop I requested and then the BrakeMax guy tried covering up the reports I was making about the tow truck driver. It's just my experience, and it's common because I'm a woman and many male mechanics tend to try to force women to need to go back to them for services. He failed to inspect my vehicle for the report and failed to quote me for the repairs. And failed to help me report the tow truck driver. I've had worse interactions with places like Midas and their office staff, but this one was very intentional to make me need air conditioning repairs and vacuumed lines. Right as I was reporting what the tow truck driver had done to me, to make me look like I put myself into these kinds of situations, when I truly do not. I really was calling injury attorneys about that and other things and I never got through to a real attorney. This has gravely impacted me and multiple people and multiple cases I'm involved in. I've even become a victim of false reports in that car and I'm trying my best to seek restoration of my vehicle and the damages caused to it by these men. Thanks for reading.

Quick service and good value for their prices. I believe it was Luis who helped me the other day with my oil change service. He was everything you'd want from a Repair Associate - prompt, friendly, and informative. He helped guide me to make a selection that was both budget-friendly and beneficial for my vehicle. I will certainly be back.

Miguel was professional and honest. The technician was able to complete the work the same day. Miguel gave me info on issues with my car and offered to do further work in the future. Thank you!

Staff was helpful and took the time to explain to me everything that was going on with my vehicle. Much appreciated their detailed information about my vehicle and their immediate service. They also took my vehicle in, even though they were closing.

Honestly the best experience I have ever had in a mechanic shop. The dude with the curl mustache (Cisco? I can’t remember his name) was a very honest and made me feel at ease. It was a pretty big roster and they did it all!
