I don’t give 5 stars often, but this place deserves it because they go the extra mile. I’ve used this location for at least the past 8 years; I’m a repeat customer if that says anything. Historically I’ve done services on military bases or Costco because of price, yet Belle Tire remains as competitive with a deeper inventory. In a recent service (new tire/alignment/oil change) they demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. Upon completion all seemed perfect, however a couple days later a svc light popped up, yikes…oil pressure, oil everywhere, stop immediately. I called, explained, and they shuffled and saw me within 10 min. A gasket and o-ring failed…unsure of the exact reason. What caught my attention was, they identified this as high risk and they immediately resolved. No cost to me. Its that focus that earned my respect. I want to give a shout out to Jay for his handling and communication style. And lastly, thanks for also hooking up Vets with an extra 10 percent discount. Another nice perk is their waiting room is rather clean and comfortable. Thanks Belle Tire!

Awesome job they aligned it after some other shop in Detroit failed to do that costing me two brand new fire stone tires at about $400. They were only a week old and now I need to replace them.

Stopped in yesterday to put air in my sisters tires, but the outside pump was broken. I went inside and asked if they could check the tires for my sister and the gentlemen behind the counter said sure thing, I would need the keys and about 20 minutes. It did not take 20 minutes and the young man that brought the keys back to me was very courteous. I thanked him for helping us out and he said we were welcome that is what they are there for. Very helpful and nice group of people.

After waiting 3 weeks for the store-transfer tires in the size/manufacturer I purchased (seemed long, but was willing to wait) to arrive at the Belle Tire Southfield Rd. Store, the tires that arrived were +2-year-old tires, made sometime in the middle of 2022. I told them I'm not putting +2 year old tires on my car--I had my reasons--I rejected them. If they were a year old or less, I would have accepted them. But +2 years old? No. I could have bought a much fresher set from a Discount Tire store, but I decided to give the Belle Tire Southfield- Southfield Rd. store another chance. For the replacement set, since we were once again starting from square one, I decided to order the next size up tire from the same manufacturer, same model tire. They were more money (~$80), but I wanted the larger size. The store manager overheard my request (I was working with a different counter guy at the time), and then the store manager proceeded to insist to us that the tire manufacturer doesn't make that model tire in that size. Now before I go further....before going to the store, I had looked up on the tire manufacturer's website and verified that the manufacturer DOES make that model tire in the larger size. I also called the tire manufacturer's customer service line to ensure their website tire size/availability data was current/correct. I wasn't going to ask Belle Tire for something that didn't exist. To this day, I don't know why the store manager did that. He never apologized or said anything, even after his own store employee looked up and verified in the store's inventory system that the requested size/manufacturer/model tire does exist (the store manager heard that). The counter guy ended up ordering the tires for me. When the second set of ordered tires finally arrived at the store (took nearly 4 weeks), I brought the rims back in (off the car) for the second set to be mounted and balanced (typically a 20-30 minute process for a professional tire shop to mount and balance 4 tires on 4 BARE new rims off the car--had this done at other tire shops many times before). When I arrived, my expectation was that they would mount and balance the tires while-I-waited, after everything that I'd been through, but no. The store manager insisted that I make yet ANOTHER round trip (#6) into the store the next day to pick them up because he said I had to "wait my turn" because he didn't think he could "get to them" that day. The nearly 2 months didn't count as waiting I guess. The 5 round trips I had already made into the store to buy one set of tires evidently wasn't enough. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. They close at 6:00 p.m. It wasn't like I was expecting them to start doing this 10 minutes before closing time. I'm the guy that many of my friends/family come to for recommendations on where to get their cars serviced. I can assure you, based on this experience, this is definitely the last time I will ever bring my business to Belle Tire for anything.
