They were sprint auto works before. They took 3 months to do an install of my air suspension for a 540i wagon. Recently scrapped the project and found out a ton of the fittings were hand tightened and or lose (such as: front suspension tie rod, air tank mount, etc.), the wiring for the set up was awful, no water release valve for the air tank (which I was told there would be an automatic one for the condensation build up) and on top of all of that; they asked me to pay the rest of the balance 2 weeks early (total cost for me was $5700). The guys at#becausebags are nice and all but they’re not transparent and they do not involve you in the build. If you want to have any sort of control or quality checks, they’re not the shop for you. They might be recommended as one of the best in the bay, but service, quality of work and communication are all poor. To explain further, I’m the type of person who likes to get involved with any and all of my builds; I’m particular, but reasonable. I would send out an email and not get any response for minimum a week, I’d call and they either won’t answer or give me some bs excuse why they weren’t working on my car at the time (again, they took 3months to finish installation of an air system - from drop off to pick up). Also, in all transparency; I wasn’t going to write this, and I was going to leave the issues alone until this week when I uninstalled all of the items from my car, and found so many issues on the install. If you like to be involved, have any say, or even wanna check in on your build; I’d strongly suggest other shops (Imperial Autoworks, Speed Element, etc.) as there are much better out there in regards to my needs for the above.
