Charles and Kelly really put in the work pulling all the electrical gear out of the way to get to the worst placed battery ever! Both were sweating and really putting in the work. I purchased a battery from this location on 6/29/24 and by 7/3/24 I needed a jump start. I drove directly to the location to have them test the battery, wasn't met with the best customer service. I was told the battery was fine and I had a bad alternator. I tried explaining that the battery recently being jumped could be the reason for that and was flat out ignored. Lady never acknowledged my presence actually other than doing her job and priced me an alternator at $409. I never got a printout of the test, ultimately it made sense that the alternator could be going bad so a few days later I order the part as my car still won't hold a charge. It turned out they ordered the wrong part- and instead of a simple exchange, I had to come up with another $375 while I waited days on a refund. Anyway, the alternator is installed, car still barely cranks. I go to Honda and pay $90 for a diagnostic only to be told it's a faulty battery. I swapped it out- the guy this time was very helpful and personable. However, here I am about $540 later from a seemingly bad diagnostic that I was given no proof of.

We were in Shelby for business. 2 hours from home and my battery died. Some great folks at work gave me a jump and we called the local Autp Zone and got Chris Hendrickson on the phone. He checked to see if he had the battery we needed and he was quick to say I got ya...come on. We will make sure you get back on the road. He went out of his way to make a difficult situation have a great outcome. Highly recommend and ask for Chris!!! Friendly and wonderful help and service!

Requested a refund on rotors that wouldn’t fit my vehicle. I purchased them with a card but this store gave me a refund with cash just to get rid of the fake money in their register . If you go make sure you check before you leave, or they will tell you it’s nothing they can do. I’m going up there this Monday to speak with the sup and possibly file a report.
