I wanted to upgrade the sound in my 17 year old vehicle. So it was time to go wireless, Apple Car Play, etc. The head unit was all I really wanted since I've thought it had a decent little factory system. I started doing some research and spoke to a handful of folks, but decided to go with Al & Ed's because of Chris. He's a no nonsense kinda guy and I appreciate the transparency. He provided some impartial direction on selecting a brand, which was helpful. I was in no rush so I took a couple weeks to decide on a unit. Once I did Chris got me in within a weeks time and completed the install in a few hours. As particular as I am, if I'm happy I know you'll be.

I came here for installation of Intoxalock (IID) and Chris was very helpful. He made sure I fully understood the ins and outs of the device before I drove off and he answered all my questions patiently. He’s a very compassionate business owner who cares about his customers. I highly recommend coming here if you need an ignition device installed. Good price and excellent customer service.

I was in the market for an alarm system and car stereo and stopped in to get pricing. The person at the front counter was pretty uninterested in really helping at all. His attitude was horrible. I was looking at somewhere around $1200 worth of stuff and had cash to pay. I asked if he could print out a quote of the work and he refused. I a Called back a few days later to setup the appointment for the alarm to get done. Same poor attitude over the phone. When I tried to set up a date he gave me something over 2 weeks out and told me before he would do anything he wanted me to come and leave a deposit. At that point I went with another stereo/ alarm place in Kearny Mesa who were more than happy to make my appointment for the very next weekend. No attitude and no hassles.
