1-800 Radiator & A/C - Tucson

The only reason this company got 1 star is because I had to at least give them one star in order to write them. Toni the owner of this car repair shop was supposed to replace my tailgate and replace a door on my truck I paid $1500 for him to only pound out the dent and paint the door. This is the worst service I have ever dealt with. Chi overpriced me and then not only that but he started adding more detail to the receipt that I already signed and approved therefore doing illegal activity right in front of me. He was extremely rude to when I confronted him on his mistakes. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place.

I took my car to ABC Radiator and I was skeptical at first because the building looks run down and even worse when you go inside but the service was great, the staff was friendly and they directed me out back to the repair place. They examined the car and told me I needed a new radiator (which I already knew) and said they would replace it in a few hours. The cost was 100.00 for the radiator, 125.00 for labor. Good deal...I left and they called to recommend new hoses at a cost of 25.00 a piece, which is a good price and I appreciated the call, so they replaced two hoses. My car was done in a few hours, the price was good, they did NOT rip me off for little added costs and I paid and off I rode. I would recommend this place for radiators. Oh, and my car is still running good from their work!

This is NOT ABC radiator anymore! They are a national chain who bought them out. So if you had the phone number for ABC saved for many years and call you get this place- a cheap part slinging warehouse... Which brings me to my main issue- I gave the guy a CSF brand part number, was told I would get a CSF radiator and instead I get some 1800 radiator Taiwanese single core piece of absolute junk. And for $20 more than the CSF brand! Anyway, cost me and my parts delivery guy 2 hours of driving and a customer who probably won't come to us again.

My 2002 Wrangler, like all Jeeps, has been through countless radiators. According to ABC Radiator this is due to a cheaply made epoxy seal that Mopar used in the manufacturing of this radiator. So they upgraded me by reccomending a CSF brass and copper 3 row radiator with no epoxy seals and after I installed it it was leaking. Of course I was angry, thinking they sold me a $400 hood ornament, but I took it in and they tested it. They proved the radiator was fine and helped me diagnose a faulty thermostat that had been the demise of all my past radiators and even repaired the upper radiator hose hole on the radiator that I had bent for free. As I was leaving they threw in a radiator cap for free and invited me to come back, once everything was installed for a free coolant system inspection. During this inspection they looked for any leaks, verified the thermostat was the problem, and checked the coolant system pressure before they gave me the go ahead. They truly went above and beyond by making easy work of a troublesome coolant failure four years strong that even professionals couldn't figure out. Thank you ABC radiator for all your help!

Prices really reasonable and great customer service can't believe I saved over $300.00 on an auto part that wasn't even available in town Try them out you'll be surprised
