Maple Avenue Ext is a key thoroughfare in Pulaski, ensuring that the gas station is easily accessible for both local residents and those traveling through the area. Its position offers good visibility and straightforward entry and exit points, which are crucial for minimizing delays during a fuel stop.

The accessibility of a gas station is paramount for any driver, particularly in New York where schedules can be tight. Being situated on a prominent road means drivers can quickly spot the station and pull in for a fill-up, whether they are on their daily commute, running errands in Pulaski, or passing through on a longer journey. Features / Highlights

Sunoco in Pulaski, NY, possesses several features that define its offering as a local gas station and convenience store, though some aspects have received mixed feedback:

  • Sunoco Brand Fuel: As a Sunoco-branded station, it offers fuels known for their quality and performance, including various grades of gasoline, E85, and diesel. Sunoco's fuels are often associated with racing, implying a focus on performance.
  • Convenience Store Attached: The integrated convenience store is a significant highlight, allowing customers to easily pick up snacks, drinks, and other quick necessities alongside their fuel purchase. This one-stop-shop approach saves time for busy New Yorkers.
  • Accessible Location: Situated on Maple Ave Ext, the station's easy access and visibility are key features, enabling drivers to quickly pull in and out without hassle.
  • Proximity for Locals: For residents within walking distance, as one reviewer mentioned, it serves as the "only store within walking distance." This makes it an essential local amenity for quick purchases, even beyond fueling needs.
  • Payment at the Pump: Like most modern gas stations, Sunoco offers pay-at-the-pump functionality, enhancing speed and convenience for customers.

However, it's important to acknowledge some reported areas for improvement:

  • Customer Service Concerns: Customer reviews have indicated issues with staff demeanor, citing rudeness and an absence of masks during health guidelines. This suggests that while basic services are provided, the customer interaction experience can be inconsistent.
  • Product Freshness Issues: A review mentioned "outdated sandwiches" with altered expiration dates. This is a significant concern regarding product quality and freshness in the convenience store.
  • Bathroom Availability: While restrooms are typically a feature of gas station convenience stores, a review noted that they were "closed," which can be an inconvenience for travelers.

These factors paint a picture of a station that offers essential services but may have inconsistencies in customer experience and product management in the convenience store.

Sunoco Customer Reviews

I walk in and the first thing I notice is that the two ladies standing in front of the door don’t have masks on. I walk towards the back and one of the ladies (one that didn’t even work there!!) yelled at me across the store and said the bathrooms were closed, very rudely my I add. Furthermore, the lady at the front checking people out did not have a mask on when she checked out the rest of the customers. These people were so rude and we received many nasty glares as we left the store. Please, take your money elsewhere.

So I went back in today and they are still selling the outdated sandwiches with marker over the original expiration date but they happen to write in a new expiration date with a pen. But at least this cashier was nice and the store smelled clean . If it wasn't for the fact that it's only two or three minutes away I would never go there. Unfortunately it is the only store within walking distance.

went inside to use the bathroom while my mom was picking out some drinks for us, asked for key, and was given a snarky "the restroom is for CUSTOMERS only" as a response. My mother told the lady she would just take her business somewhere else that wasn't so rude to people.
